Hello! I'm a chemistry student living in London :). I'm a big fan of music (mostly folk and prog rock) and like to draw in my spare time. I'm a massive nerd, and love to spend time in the museums and galleries of London (or just wandering around the city in the evenings, because it's so beautiful!). I'm also a big fan of coffee and spy novels/movies.

  1. Hello all! I was just admiring some of your little quotes and things you have under your comments, and I was wondering how I could get one for myself! Sorry if I'm being a little dense, but I can't seem to find out how to do it! Thanks!
  2. It pretty much never snows in London, and when we get even the tiniest amount the entire city descends into chaos haha :P. Us Brits are just terrible at dealing with the weather...
  3. Thanks, I'll make sure to check her writing out!
  4. I imagine that John likes to head down to the pub for a quiet pint or two a couple of nights a week, and although he tries to persuade Sherlock to come with him every now and then, he knows it's never going to happen :(
  5. Hello all! I'm a huge fan of fan fiction, but as I'm sure you all know it's often hard to trawl through pages and pages of pics looking for one you actually want to read! So I thought it would be a good idea to ask you all what your favourite sherlock fics are! Bonus points for angsty ones hehe :P Thanks!
  6. Hello all! I'm unused to the forum format and I would like to know how I can check replies to posts and comments I make? Or do I just need to keep checking threads I've posted on? Thanks in advance
  7. I prefer it to Foyle's and the big Waterstones and most the well-known bookshops actually, it's an academic specialist bookshop (which doesn't mean just textbooks!) so it has a lot of really interesting non-fiction books you don't usually see anywhere else. It's also in a really pretty building, has a lot of good discounts and a great cafe in a lovely part of the city.
  8. Hi there! I'm new too I can't believe we have to wait a year for another episode though! Argh!
  9. The title of this thread made me smile, I was outside the real Speedy's cafe only yesterday! For anyone else here who's living in London, just a heads up that there is the most amazing bookshop just down the road from Speedy's... 10/10 recommended!
  10. Haha, yes cats are great aren't they? . And don't worry, I'll be back!
  11. Hello everyone! Just introducing myself . I'm a chemistry student who's currently lucky enough to be living in London! Being in this city has really re-started my love of Sherlock, so I decided to get more involved in the fan community! Not really that much more to say, just that I'm hoping to make some good friends here and have some interesting discussions about this fantastic show. A little more about me: I'm a huge fan of coffee, I love folk music, I'm pretty shy and introverted but I like to think that I'm friendly. I love long conversations with friends in coffee shops and wandering around, discovering new areas and interesting places in London. So, just say hi I suppose!
