Alright, so curiosity will kill me one day.

I went to find out more about 404 instead of working (obviously) and eventhough I stopped mid-way {because it seems like a rabbit hole that I shouldn't enter (because I could spend years studying about it and then become the expert of 404 just in time when it's no longer a problem and you guys are talking about Forbidden Error 1895)},
here are the three things I found:

1. Add to the list, X-a-n-a-x,
and tidsep0ker (although it seems that the problem lies only with p0ker. Anyway, found that accidentally, it's not even English word, I think, it's probably Swedish or Norwegian)

2. Most explanations given are around this line:
"a 404 error happens when you try to access a resource on a web server (usually a web page) that doesn’t exist. Some reasons for this happening can for example be a broken link, a mistyped URL, or that the webmaster has moved the requested page somewhere else (or deleted it)"

I have absolutely no idea about the connection because we didn't seem to try to access anything except using certain wordings in the post.

Anyway, apparently error 404 is very common so some websites try to make the best of it by making it into informative or fun page, there are whole lot examples out there.

Here are a few:

And this one actually features our Sherl.. and a very smart cat.

3. And! And! Good god! You know what.... After all those useless efforts, apparently our error is not 404 anymore, but 403!!

(Eta: oh wait, apparently Carol has found out that it had changed from 404 to 403 couple of pages back), but still....
We were demoted without notice!!

"403: This error is similar to the 401 error, but note the difference between unauthorized and forbidden. In this case no login opportunity was available. This can for example happen if you try to access a (forbidden) directory on a website."

Hmmmmmm..... so there is a secret stash of forbidden pages somewhere here....
(Okay okay I'm gg back to bored bored boreeeed work!) (If you guys have any idea how much effort I took to make this post solely by phone, you'd be convinced I'm BORED at work. XD)
I may be on the side of the angels, but don't think for one second that I am one of them.

It's this, or Cluedo.

403? If you say so. I was thinking 404, and assuming they used that number just to cool people. But if 403 is the Forbidden Error, maybe I simply miscopied the error message in the first place?

Added: Nope, it used to say "404 Not Found error," and it now says "403 Forbidden Error." So it's been corrected in the software.

Thanks for X-a-n-a-x. (Yup, 403.). And tidsep0ker. (Never heard of it, but ol' 403 sure don't like any kinda p0ker!)

It even balks at "fireplace p0ker" -- maybe it's been playing Cluedo?
