Hi, partington -- welcome to Sherlock Forum!  :welcome:

You'll find a lot of fellow Brett fans here.  In fact, you'll find fans of just about every Sherlock Holmes incarnation.  Do you happen to be familiar with any in addition to Brett?

Holmes fan from Scotland, can remember Peter Cushing in the role,

among my favourite short stories The Red Headed League,

The Norwood Builder, and countless others.  Even have some of

The Rathbone movies on DVD, not for the purist , but entertaining.

Hi there Partington, do you have any plans? :P

... and may we call you Bruce?

Do you like villain's kiss or midnight toss-swimming?

Come to think of it, yes!

What is it about everyone on first name basis while what I get is unpronounceable initial?

It's...it's not okay!

Nuff said, go swimming Bruce! :p

Mm.. I don't think so. It's overused word, I'd be very busy hearing the name being called.

I like something less usual. What about Floccinaucinihilipilification, I'd be happy to be called that. We have known each other for a while now, so please??

Can't I just call you "Worthless" instead? :D

No no you are missing the bigger picture. My proposed name means I get to decide what is worthless :p

No short.

That is worse than Mike for Mycorft..!

Sigh.

Just admit that you don't consider me on first name basis guys. Just say so.

How sad.

Hey, guys (everybody except what's-'er-name):  I just looked up Floccinaucinihilipilification, and found that it means "The action or habit of estimating something as worthless."  Furthermore, the dictionary says that "Floccinaucinihilipilification is one of a number of very long words that occur very rarely in genuine use."  In other words, it's one of those high-falutin' terms that people use mostly just to show off.

Why do I get the feeling that we're not being taken seriously here?  :P
