Lifting The Ban on Series Four Spoilers.

As it has now been a decent amount of time since the airing of series 4 of Sherlock we feel it is prudent to relax the ban on discussion of series 4 episodes in the general Sherlock discussion areas.

We would ask that members continue to keep within the bounds of topic titles and subjects, in order to make it easier for people to choose which discussions they wish to view.

Hi, I am Conrad. I am really new to the "forum" thing and English is not my native lenguage so, if I make mistakes please let me know. Been reading SH stories for 11/12 years. The first one that I read was "The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle" I was at 4th grade that time. Still reading over and over. "The Red-Headed League" is my all time favorite. Of course I am watching the adaptations, thanks to technology. Currently watching "Elementary", in my opinion it is the closest one to reality and really absorbing but BBC's "Sherlock" is great too. That is all for now. Please tell me if I make a mistake. All right then. Have a good day.

Welcome Conrad. I don't know what you prefer to be called, but I follow Arcadia. If you don't like it, blame her. :)

I am the 68259th member and I had promised to behave when greeting newer member, but I had done that before this and now I'm free to do what I want. :P

Don't worry, English is not my native language too, and many people here are nice about it.
But Elementary??? Elementary???? :P

Joking, joking all Sherlocks are welcome but Benedict Cumberbatch is better Sherlock :P

Welcome, have fun and hope you stay around.

I may be on the side of the angels, but don't think for one second that I am one of them.
I said I'd tell you the truth. Didn't say you'd like it.

Welcome! Make yourself comfortable. I don't think we have many active Elementary fans at the moment but there is a thread for the series somewhere, search function should bring it up.

Don't worry about your English! I am sure we'll be able to understand you and if not, we can always ask.

Hello again everybody, thanks for your replies. :) I read that too many people dislike Elementary, maybe it's becouse it's too American after Sherlock. We all agree that Buttercup Cumbersnatch is one of the greatest actors and his portrail of SH is really mind-blowing. I'll take it short. Thank you again. I hope we'll have fun with all of you. Until next time, 👋

Hey, Conrad, welcome to Sherlock Forum!  :welcome:

Just curious -- have you seen the Grenada / Jeremy Brett episodes?

Hi Carol, almost 7 8  years ago I saw one of them, my mum was watching,  but can't remember completely. I remember a silk sock, twins and cigarette ash. I should watch them probably :)

Can't place that story -- oh, wait a minute -- I think you're talking about Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silk Stocking, which was a television movie from 2004, not part of the Grenada / Brett series.  I don't believe I've ever seen it.
