  1. Hello everyone! I'm actually an old member here, but it's been something like 5 years since I last logged on. I just wanted to say hello again! It's a bit wild still being able to recognize so many names.
  2. It's also one of those shows where it's so good that if you miss something, it's not the end of the world, you'll probably still get the rest of it. I've had times where the third time I watch an episode I have a head-smacking moment but hadn't realized before that I'd actually missed something.
  3. Don't make me choose between Ben and Hiddles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Breathes* Fangirl moment over.
  4. ...His whole existence is a little bit naughty if you're easily offended.
  5. I certainly shall still call myself that in private...!
  6. Truce. It is largely generational, and I think there are lots of people who prefer highly cerebral to highly active stories, no matter their age or nationality.
  7. I know they puts lots of effort into it, but that's the one thing that has always annoyed me about the series. He never looks like he's actually playing.
  8. Oh I love that one! I loved that play. It was one of the first ones I read.
  9. Okay, here goes. (I'm pretty sure it will be all wrong, but it's from memory, so hey.) To be, or not to be, that is the question Whether tis nobler in a mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune Or to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them? To die, to sleep, no more And by that sleep we say to end the heartache and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished To die, to sleep To sleep, perchance to dream Aye, there's the rub For in that sleep of death what dreams may come? When we shuffle off this mortal coil must give us pause For who would bear the whips and scorns of time The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely The insolence of office, the pangs of despised love And the spurns Which patient merit of the unworthy take When he himself would his quietus make With a bare bodkin, who would fardels bear to grunt and sweat under that of a weary life But that the dread of something after death That undiscovered country from whose borne No traveller returns, puzzles the will And makes us rather bear the ills we have Than fly to others we know not of Thus conscience does make cowards of us all And the native hue of resolution is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of though And enterprises of great pith and moment With this regard their currents turn awry And lose the name of action
  10. I see Sherlock in House all the time. Mind you, I don't watch it all the time. But when I do it screams Sherlock at me.
  11. Well I suppose it was made a while ago. People were stricter about ratings.
  12. Oh I definitely think they've got it at least sketched out in their devious little minds.
  13. I was thinking the same. The electronic, action-y thing wouldn't have made an appearance in season one, I don't think. I think it required a bit of confidence to insert.
  14. That is very true...I'm not trying to call Americans adreneline junkies or anything, but they do like their bit of action.
  15. Just find some random kid and be like 'I need to borrow you to meet Ben okay?'
  16. He has lovely hair...I mean he's just lovely in general.
  17. I think that's probably the term for girls like me...
  18. Well, that is possibly one of the greatest compliments I have ever recieved. It depends upon who you ask, and how much I like you, I guess. I tend not to waste time pretending to like people.
  19. A glorious summary, Ruthy! Gisburne is my favourite character. His antics...I can't even... By the way, as far as I know, the entire series is on YouTube! Definitely worth watching!
  20. Oh, same. Honestly, people think i'm abrupt on here, so I doubt they'd have any patience for me in real life. I think that in my search for personality I found my inner bitch and ran with that.
  21. Yes! The good thing was that when they got a new actor, they created a new character instead of just having him be the same person. And yes, the soundtrack (which is gorgeous and perfect in every way) is by Clannad. ...This show is so cozy to me. A few years ago my mother bought my dad and I the joint Christmas gift of both seasons on DVD...I think I've seen the whole series probably nine times. It's one of those rainy day shows.
