Hello everyone! I'm actually an old member here, but it's been something like 5 years since I last logged on. I just wanted to say hello again! It's a bit wild still being able to recognize so many names.

It's also one of those shows where it's so good that if you miss something, it's not the end of the world, you'll probably still get the rest of it. I've had times where the third time I watch an episode I have a head-smacking moment but hadn't realized before that I'd actually missed something.

Truce. It is largely generational, and I think there are lots of people who prefer highly cerebral to highly active stories, no matter their age or nationality.

I know they puts lots of effort into it, but that's the one thing that has always annoyed me about the series. He never looks like he's actually playing.

I see Sherlock in House all the time. Mind you, I don't watch it all the time. But when I do it screams Sherlock at me.

I was thinking the same. The electronic, action-y thing wouldn't have made an appearance in season one, I don't think. I think it required a bit of confidence to insert.

That is very true...I'm not trying to call Americans adreneline junkies or anything, but they do like their bit of action.

Well, that is possibly one of the greatest compliments I have ever recieved. It depends upon who you ask, and how much I like you, I guess. I tend not to waste time pretending to like people.

A glorious summary, Ruthy! Gisburne is my favourite character. His antics...I can't even... By the way, as far as I know, the entire series is on YouTube! Definitely worth watching!

Oh, same. Honestly, people think i'm abrupt on here, so I doubt they'd have any patience for me in real life. I think that in my search for personality I found my inner bitch and ran with that.

Yes! The good thing was that when they got a new actor, they created a new character instead of just having him be the same person. And yes, the soundtrack (which is gorgeous and perfect in every way) is by Clannad. ...This show is so cozy to me. A few years ago my mother bought my dad and I the joint Christmas gift of both seasons on DVD...I think I've seen the whole series probably nine times. It's one of those rainy day shows.
