I stumbled across this today. It was co-written and produced by none other than Louise Brealey and the second episode just happened to feature a certain Rupert Graves (and Doctor Who alumnus Adjoa Andoh) Essentially it's a kid's show, done last year to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens' birth. It features Charles Dickens as a chat show host looking into what would have been hot topics in Victorian times. Not sure if the BBC page will be accessible outside of the UK, but here is the episode guide if you want a look.

So there I am, watching The Waiting Room (as part of my effort to watch as much stuff with Rupert Graves in it as possible) when I had to stop watching temporarily because of a fit of the giggles. Why? Because Rupert's character in this (George) just happens to be married to Zoe Telford - who was Sarah in Sherlock. I had no idea because I generally don't look up these things on IMDB before I watch. There is a channel on youtube with a fair bit of RG's stuff on it http://www.youtube.com/user/supergravesdigger

Gabriel Byrne, Douglas Hodge, Gina McKee, Charles Dance, Rupert Graves and Ruth Negga star in the four-part drama written by Robert Jones (Murder, Lennon Naked) and directed by Ed Fraiman (The Philanthropist), which is inspired by Chris Mullin's novel A Very British Coup. Deputy Prime Minister Tom Dawkins (Byrne) vows to take on the American petrochemical company Petrofex after a devastating accident on British soil. Following the suspicious death of the Prime Minister in a plane crash, Dawkins' understated political ambitions are tested as heavyweights Ros Yelland (Sylvestra La Touzel) and Felix Durrell (Graves) vie for the top job, but neither appears to have justice for the victims at the forefront of their campaign. ~*~ Unfortunately the first episode of this was on Wednesday on Channel 4 but there are another 3 to watch (next on the Wednesday 14th at 10pm) and the first can be seen on 4od if you're in the UK - http://www.channel4....ecret-state/4od Interestingly, some of this was filmed in Liverpool so I have more than just the excuse of seeing RG to watch it. I have recorded it.
