Well it seems Moffat has broken his silence over these Benedict Cumberbatch in Doctor Who rumours that have been flying about:

This makes me sad :(

 

Benedict would be such an amazing master, he does the whole cruel and calculating so well.

 

But still, Rupert Graves is going to appear in the series, so we still have a little bit of WhoLock.

Too bad, he would have made an amazing Master! :( But I don't think Benedict would have time to do anymore filming this year. :P He's pretty darn busy as it is.

 

But the for now is interesting. Hoping for Benedict in the future!!

Actually, I had no idea about this - though I'm sure he could pull the Master off...
