I think if holmes gets any slightest idea that we are from future, he would learn all about time travel from various books or people available at that time.

By the way, Nice Idea caya.

what do you think will holmes be able to guess that his memory is erased using man in black technology?...

And thank you carol for tips....

Have to remember, there wasn't all that much technology back then. Electricity and the telephone was still in their very early infancy. No computers, no television.  H. G. Wells would publish his book "The Time Machine" in 1895, the golden age of the Sherlock Holmes stories....but there was at the time....no real science behind it.....there still isn't.  Pure science fiction and speculation and a whole lot of wishful thinking.  Might Holmes consider the possibility?  Perhaps....proving it would be a whole different matter...and there is the whole....not changing history thing.

If his memory was erased......he may be aware of missing time....but he is used to that already routinely doing that anyway....spending days zoned out on the sofa....he may not much care.

Holmes didn't forget important things, he would only forget things that were useless to him..... missing entire time period would be suspicious one to him...

Question is.....if his memory was as selectively erased as in "The Men In Black"  how could he be aware that he had had them in the first place? They would probably do the same to John and Mrs. Hudson maybe even the Time Travelers so that would forget what they had done and where they went and who they had met.
