Well, X-Files is official on hiatus now too. I'm getting really good at this hiatus thing.

That was it? Geez, Sitty, what have you gotten me into?

I have to admit I didn't enjoy this last one as much ... for one thing, I missed it last week, so I was sort of lost, and they seemed to be trying to cram too much "epicness" into a one-hour episode. And too much of Muldur just lying around, battered. I like it best when they're working together.

No, you didn't really miss much, it just didn't make much sense.  lol  Typical Chris Carter BS.  Alien DNA!  Spartan Virus!  I hope Mulder lives... or maybe we can have him "die" and come back from the dead again.  Sorry, I'm a bit bitter b/c there's no guarantee of Season 11 (we now know we're likely getting it at some point), but Carter didn't know this when he ended it all on that cliffhanger.  The whole point of this revival was to tie up loose ends.  Argh.   I'm really cranky today.  Sorry.   And you see now why I can't ever get too mad at Mofftiss.

Ah, I see. I was supposed to be confused. Hmmm. Okay, I'll be more wary from now on! (And I wonder if I was the only one who thought "and now she wakes up!" at the end? :D )

I find I'm getting less upset with Mofftiss as time goes on. First, learning Moff was painfully shy made a huge difference in the way I hear him, and second, Tiss is such a lovely, lovely fellow that it's impossible to get mad at him in the first place. :P I think I'm learning to enjoy being tormented by them, in fact. God help me.

Oh, I don't mind their evil-ness as far as torturing fans ... I'd torture them too if I were them! No, frankly, it was Moff's tone-deaf comments about shooting people and women that got me riled. But I think I'm over it, and I rather enjoy the guy now. Also it helps to hear and watch him yourself, and not just read his remarks. He loves his job so much!

No, but I'm seriously considering wasting my money on a movie this weekend. Recommended?

To be honest, it's not as good as other similar type of movies that based on true event. I think Big Short did a better job, Spotlight is a bit dry in the beginning but it builds up. So it depends on whether you enjoy these kind of movies. To me, yes, I enjoyed it, especially that I am not familiar on the extend of the facts they based on, but I had my own theory that is surprisingly very close to it, generally to the world. So, sometimes I am very disappointed that my skeptical view of morality is proven, like this case. It's..disturbing.

Like Making A Murderer, which apparently no one here is watching... Hmpppphhh...!

Eta...If you week is stressing you out, go watch Deadpool instead. XD

But if you in the mood for something heavier, then you can consider Spotlight.

I have to admit Deadpool is probably more to my taste... -- although I like a good drama too. It may depend on if anyone goes with me (I can't imagine anyone I know wanting to see Deadpool.... )

Well, that's what I keep telling them too, but for some reason it's not sinking in.... :d

But how lucky..!

If I wanted to watch movie with friends, Deadpool must be the easiest sell. For others, even bringing them up earns me weird stares from some.

I actually hardly care about superheroes movies, had missed Avenger(s) and not sure how many X-men(s), and those more minor ones, and I don't see a way that I am interested in catching that Batman and Superman, unless I heard good things from reliable source.

But I am waiting for Dr. Strange, not only because of BC, he sounds like interesting character too.

Aw, the first Avengers was fabulous. Actually, I think they've all been pretty good, except for the Xmen ... somehow, those never gelled for me. Too much emphasis on Wolverine, maybe; never cared much for his character.

Wait... how many Avengers are there? I think I watched the first one, and yes, quite like it. Although while it's enjoyable, I forget it the day after. That is probably why I don't feel the need to catch the rest, although I wouldn't mind, but not on top list of things I want to watch.

But I like Nolan's Batman though, and first Ironman.

2 Avengers movies so far.

Oh.. means I only haven't seen one. Well, because, the second one doesn't have Loki!

Anyway, this hiatus issss dryyyy, let's talk random.

If you could magically obtain three skills, what do you choose? :) Can go a bit crazy with some touch of reality. XD

I want to be able to handle all flying machines (including rockets :p).

I want to be animal whisperer.

I want ability to heal.

Come on, talk random.

You mean, like superpowers? I think I would choose:

Ability to read minds

Invisibility

Healing Hands

I don't usually like superhero films very much. Yet I did enjoy Deadpool. It was funny. And it seemed more... honest? somehow. Like, the violence was real.

Let's not talk about my response to Loki's scene being cut from Avengers 2...

Super/magical powers:

1. The ability to stay thin and healthy no matter what I eat or how much exercise I don't get.

2. It wasn't superhuman, but I'd like to have back the same memory and ability to concentrate that I had when I was 20.

3. Um..... the ability to make money without even trying.

:P

I want to feed on light like a plant without being green.

That is neat, you mean you don't need to eat again. I agree, eating is troublesome although I occasionally enjoy that. At least it's still something I can turn on and off, although not for long. It would be nice if we can function properly without sleep though, it takes too much of our time.

Ability to read minds

Would you act on what you know because of this?

I imagine the ability to know when someone is being depressed, harboring suicidal or murderous intention, people in the process of manipulating others, liars, it could be very exhausting because you would know it.

However, if people with this ability work in law and justice, it would be wonderful.

There is a very realistic part that makes me think. Too realistic.

What would you do if you know imminent death is looming? I disturbingly kind of endorsing what he does in the beginning. Going away and die alone. Let people you love remember you the way you are. Is it bad?

I didn't know Loki has a scene, and didn't know about Dr.Strange cameo's rumor.

special powers:

Something that would make all household chores done at just a word or thought.

something that would give me a Sherlock type mind where I could remember what I want and delete what I don't want.

Something that would allow me to know all the right words and actions so my business would work.

I would like to:

-be able to fly (it doesn't matter how, wings or not wings)

-be able to breathe underwater

-live more than "normal people", but not forever, I think it would be quite boring after some thousand of years
