Mary and the baby die

Hmmm... maybe.  We shall see.  After all, Mary Morstan is technically dead already.  So they can play with that a bit.

Hmmmm.... good point.  Maybe I've been too focused on Mary as Mary, when she's not really Mary.

How many times can I type Mary?

Okay, so when Moffat says this:

"There are answers coming to questions which nobody has asked.  There's one thing that no one has really brought up..."

Well, I have to think, that man needs to get himself over to this forum because I doubt there's a single apostrophe in the episode that hasn't been studied from all angles.  I doubt there's a single thing that hasn't been brought up!  Am I right????

This reminds me of when they said after The Reichenbach Fall that there was something everybody had missed. We still don't know what they meant, do we? All we know for sure was that every little detail of The Fall had been discussed at length and in depth and The Empty Hearse did not exactly make anybody go "oh - wow, how did I never notice that".

The episodes aren't even written yet, but if you want to catch and hold people's interest, it's better to drop cryptic clues and fuel speculation that to tell them they'll get pretty much what they have been expecting.

I love speculation, so even if it turns out there is no answer (again), this question will keep me busy for a while, and also Moffat's hints at "consequences". I mean, even worse consequences than Sherlock being sent off to a deadly exile mission? WTF? Is he going to prison or what?

No I think it means for Mary...and therefore possibly John.

Incidentally though I love Mark and Steven to bits, I have to agree with others...

It does annoy me when I see things like: oh, nobody ever thought of or nobody ever noticed...when some actually DO!

I wasn't one of them, but some people worked out the Pool resolution would be Moriarty receiving a phone call...

Wasn't one of the questions how John and Sherlock where able to walk armed in appledore? Maybe we're getting some answers regarding Harry.

We'll have to wait I guess

Right, I was thinking the same thing. They both like to say that they've come up with something that the fans hadn't thought of -- yet on the other hand, they're adamant that they pay very little attention to what the fans are saying (specifically, that they most emphatically did NOT base "Empty Hearse" on any fan ideas, because they had read hardly any of them). In hindsight, I interpret their post-Reichenbach comments as simply taking boyish delight in "fooling" us -- at about the same level of sophistication as "Your shoelace is untied. Ha-ha, make you look!" So yeah, I suspect they're just yanking our chain again.

I have nothing against boyish delight, by the way.  :D  It's kinda cute, once you recognize it for what it is.

I'm still wondering if the "consequences" might not have to to with "the other one" and who "upset Mummy." And yeah, I don't how Moffat would know what we're thinking, I have long since decided that simply means "we're not going to do the obvious." Which is what we all think, actually...... :D

The most distressing thing for me was learning the scripts haven't been written yet! Yeaaghghg!!

Steven is always last to complete his scripts anyway.

But I say again:

We don't even know when they are starting filming yet, there has been a suggestion it will be delayed(because of Dr Strange).

So I wouldn't have even expected anything to be written yet.

Supposedly Ben is filming Dr. Strange before Hamlet, although that seems awfully tight especially with a baby coming sometime very, very soon.  I've heard that SHERLOCK may start filming after Hamlet, so after November 1.  Another winter shoot.

That was the original plan.

Well if Strange is before Hamlet, that's abut 3 or 4 months...

So time wise it's poss, I just thought they were filming later.

Why did Amanda hint the Sherlock filming would be delayed?

I think maybe she's referring to the tweet where Amanda something along the lines of last time on set this year.  I know I took that to mean there to be delay b/c I was assumed series 4 was going to be filmed at some later point in 2015.  But then we all know about assumptions... lol

Well it will for sure be after Hamlet.  Directly after Hamlet, I don't know, but BC like to pack his schedule as tightly as he can.  I suspect there will be a 1-2 week break after Hamlet and then S4 will begin shooting.

Nope, she'll be there.

I just meant maybe her bit for filming isn't until the New Year?  I dunno.  Trying to understand her tweet.  lol

That would be roughly my guess.  Sort of like when school lets out for the summer and everyone says "See you next year" -- meaning next school year, not next calendar year.
