"Fun fact: cats were actively deployed to trenches and ships to help deal with rodent infestations in both world wars, and they had the curb cutter effect of keeping the men’s spirits high."

Well, I call it a string, but it's more like a thick cord. At any rate, she makes no attempt to swallow it, although she has dragged it off and bitten it until it's dead a few times. :D But yeah, we don't leave string and rubber bands and other such interesting things lying around, do we, Pep? (She's looking at me impatiently … "Who cares? Why aren't you playing with me?")

Cats would have feast in my home. I have many things lying around. I work on the floor. Always have emergency rubber band. My cats back then seemed pretty okay with everything though.

I'm more intrigued about vegetable brush. Do we need those?

Oh dear. Another one. This one was still twitching. Bad kitty.

Argh. That is one of the scary thing about having cats I think. Mine (again, more than two decades ago) brought a wild lizard (not sure what it is too lazy to look up, the shiny and colorful one) inside mom's shop where I was resting on the floor (we had secret space behind the counter) and chew it alive in front of me, refused to move somewhere else. It was not small at all. And she kind of starting my lizard phobia* because I stepped on half-chewed bloody lizard twice she left around the house and it was stuck on my feet for more than couple of violent shakes. I put * in phobia because eventhough I cringed if I knew there was lizard around, my reaction seems to be nothing like my people who have phobia on other stuffs, or maybe they exaggerate it? Anyway, nowadays, they don't bother me too much, although it's still so cringey that now I know they have hobbies of jumping into the fridge. Yikes.

Does she look more like mom or dad? :P

Pretty soon you're gonna run out of mice, and then what will the two of you do for entertainment?  (Well, there's always the "string.")

Oh, no worries, she's already found her new passion … chasing tin foil balls.

That's a young-adult bald eagle, still has a few dark feathers on its head.  They are huge, so that's a big cat.  Cute film, glad it turned out OK.  I think I'd have been out there shooing the eagle away from my cat!

I was thinking the same thing … "you're filming this? Where's the broom!!!"
