Holee cow, I remember watching that show. Of course I had no way of knowing who BC was ... and in fact, I just reviewed bits of it, and I'm really confused. I don't detect BC's voice on it at all. (?) I only hear David Bedella; is there maybe a different version that showed in the UK, or something?

The Washington Post ran a lengthy article about Rick Rescorla, it was fascinating.

Yeah. I still can't deal with that. I actually had a slight mental break @ that time. This is true: I couldn't stop singing the national anthem, every single time that I saw a US flag, in my head for nearly a year after 9/11.

So I was scrolling through the channel listing and noticed that for those of us in the US who have the cable channel UHD that Atonement is on tonight at 1:30am EDT / 12:30am CDT. (A little less than an hour from now.  So if you can handle staying up that late it could be worth the watch.)

Girl I ain't never heard of no channel like that :o. What does UHD stand for? Is it your local public broadcasting station?

It's from Universal Studios & its conglomeration apparently as the U stands for Universal and uses their logo.

possibly as it was in the middle of the hi-def channels at my parents' place.

That's 6:00 a.m.  PST.

This is what I tweeted for it... If each movie is a learning experience, what new thing did you learn from working with the TIG director? #AskBenedict

2 pm Greenwich Mean Time is 9 am Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5), but that's 10 am Eastern Daylight Time and 7 am Pacific Daylight Time.

Assuming that they really do mean GMT.  (People over here will sometimes say "Eastern Standard Time" when they're actually referring to the current clock setting, so I suppose British people may sometimes use "GMT" in the same way.)  If they actually meant British Summer Time (which is still in effect till the last Sunday in October), then we are indeed talking 9 am EDT and 6 am PDT.

I think I got all that straight.  Just gotta untangle my fingers now.  :P

Oh, and those live Twitter events don't generally go away when the live session ends, they stay put -- so you can read them any time, just gotta scroll down to the point where they started and work your way back up from there.

Yay, as I have no desire to join Twitter and am hoping some kind soul will make the results available, through the magic of the interwebs, to sluggard hold outs like me. :P

I missed the GMT in there.  You would be correct Carol with the 10 & 7 for the US.

I don't think you need to join Twitter in order to read the pages.  I've never followed one of their live events in progress, but assume that anyone can watch, if not participate.

Presumably.  But I still wouldn't assume that they actually meant GMT, not if I were intent on catching the live action.  Wouldn't hurt to tune in at 9 or 6 just to be sure.
