Sherlock and Apple computers

Does anyone know if the production company for Sherlock has some sort of licensing deal with Apple, because the computers and Iphones are featured prominently in the series.

Sherlockology identifies the laptop he uses in Series 2 as a MacBook Pro 17 inch (and points out that he had a PC in Series 1).

Wear Sherlock discusses the ins and outs of Britain's product-placement laws and plain old common sense.

And Notes from the Arwacolypse lists a number of phones used on the show, and wonders if there might be "a clever product placement and marketing ploy by Apple."

Everything I know, I learned from Google.

He's definitely using a Macbook in THoB.  That apple logo is shining brightly!!!

And he's got a bank of Apple computers in TSoT when he's chatting with all the "I dated a ghost" women.  Seriously, he seems to have a ton of financial resources... how does he afford all those computers????????
