They are so beautiful! I'd love to buy the Sherlock's one! But I'm....ehm....to lazy to buy them on the net

@Amber§: Don't you have local 'nerd shops' in Italy? Like this one for example: www.elbenwald.de , we have a few of this one all over Germany. Actually, already our local electronics market (maybe some toy stores might have stuff like that too, not to forget the comic shops!) has Funko Pop stuff already....so it should not be too hard to find them offline. ;) Or: You tell a person who gets you something for your birthday or christmas you want the Sherlock Funko, and then THEY buy it for you on the net or elsewhere. :D Then you don't need to do it yourself, haha...

About nerd shops, unfortunately not so many, there are videogames and comics shops, that sometimes also sell funko pops, but, I don't now why, every tipe of doll except for Sherlock

I think I'll ask as a gift! Thankyou for your idea!

Maybe they already sold out all the Sherlocks! (I like to think positive.... )

Hehe...today I was at the Close Up Shop (www.closeup.de), and I actually saw the violin Sherlock and had to think of her - Amber, I think you should move to Berlin to buy all the stuff directly. ;)

I just have the problem that I usually have not enough money in my bag to buy the stuff when I see it, so I mostly order them to pay later or put them on a wishlist, and mostly they are a bit cheaper online actually.

Like today, I saw this Willow-Funko from BtVS (I have Buffy, got her as a bit of a bargain, yay!) and also a huge Smaug Funko. I would have liked to have them, but well...besides the Smaug is double size and so cost double money...I was just there to get the unicorn bag that I had told the shop assistant to keep for me until today, because when I saw it I had no money. Luckily he was nice to put it aside for me, because they are not in their stock and not available online. It's so cute, a cotton bag with a pink unicorn.

I've had a dream.

I was at some kind of event venue with Jason (the guy who made Sherlocked) where Sting was having a concert rehearsal. There were people watching this from a balcony and I asked if I can have a look too. Among those people was BC and Mark Gatiss. Mark said that it's okay, I could watch but only few minutes. Hmmm...

Then I was sitting at a table with BC discussing a job he had for me. The only problem was I couldn't understand what he was saying. I woke up from frustration. d-oh.gif

That's almost a nightmare. May you have better dreams of that sort.

Was it a good likeness?

Someone once drew a picture of my dad as a Lakers basketball player. It was labeled Minneapolis Lakers as the team was in Minnesota before it moved to LA. It showed him as a middle aged nerd type in a jersey with the sigma notation on it as he was a math teacher. Not necessarily the best likeness to his looks but it worked for his interests.

One of the girls actually apologised about how she'd drawn my hair...but as it was quite dark and curly, I didn't object!

..the obsession is bad when:

- You're supposed to do school work, but end up scrolling this forum and adoring cute amigurumis of John and Sherl.

- You're supposed to do school work, but end up scrolling funny pictures and gifs of Sherlock and John from Facebook.

- You're supposed to do school work, but end up reading smutty fanfiction (I almost wrote funfiction....) of Sherlock.

- You're supposed to have nice, normal dreams but end up seeing a dream where John Watson is at your size and you are hugging him continuously.

- When your boyfriend is thinking about getting a puppy and you secretly think about to name it Sherlock.

Okay, maybe I should get a life....

Getting a real life is highly overrated. You need to remain as insane as the rest of us on here :)

When you set your ringtone with Sherlock theme and, that's not all, when someone is calling you on the phone, you wait until the song is finished, then you answer, no matter who's calling you, the ringtone is too beautiful -_-

You know your obsession is bad when you add Sherlock into real life and he wasn't actually there.  Although we did discuss his reaction and related Sherlock things as we continued the walk to the car.
