Maybe someone more computer-savvy than myself can help me out with this:

I just noticed that ever since I use my new computer, the red squiggly lines do not show up here any more under all the words I have misspelled. I find that rather a bother - am pretty prone to make typos and sometimes unsure about spelling and have always found the forum spellcheck very convenient (sometimes, I've even typed other texts in boxes here because it was better than the spellcheck for my text processing program).

Does anybody know how I can make the red squiggly lines come back? I miss them, and also I'm embarrassed about posting all sorts of mistakes.

Wow, I've never seen any red squiggly lines! Obviously I'm no help, sorry.

:D Or your spelling is just really, really good!

Hmmm.... Bricklyer, idiat, chimny.

Nope, that's not it .... I just don't get any red squiggles! Wah, it's not fair! :D

Well, neither do I any more, and that's not fair, either. I miss them sorely.

Wow, this is embarrassing! I just solved my own problem...

Okay, just in case anybody else wants red squiggly lines and uses Firefox as a browser: Get the English dictionary add-on. That alone, however, did not do the trick for me. I had to make a right click in this box, select "languages" and tell my browser that yes, I was trying to express myself in English. And tadaaaa: red squiggly lines! Hurray!

Sorry for bothering everybody.

No problem.  If I'd been home today, I'd've simply posted a link to this thread where I asked the very same question a couple of years ago!
