Hey, even I might be in Episode 4.1!  At this point, I would take anything on IMDb with a few grains of salt.

 

However, they list only Cumberbatch and Freeman for 4.2 and 4.3 -- but for 4.1 they list Pulver and also (as "rumored") Yasmine Akram (Janine).  Also, for the special, they list Cumberbatch, Freeman, Abbington, and Scott.

 

Exactly, Carol.  Just nonsense at this point.  I know Loo Brealey is in the special, but she's not mentioned yet.  Tom Hiddleston's name pops in and out, but that's just wishful thinking.  You KNOW that the producers won't say ANYTHING about who is in what.

Well, we don't know if the cast will be in Bristol or on set in the sound stage, because the production company does 2nd unit filming as well.  That type of location, however, suggests to me something where cast would be used.  But which cast is unknown.  After all, the main cast of HLV wasn't in the first couple of scenes with creepy Magnussen.

Oh, I'm so excited about all this and I don't even know why! :D

I have waited for another series and I didn't pay attention to the filming or anything (well, I doubt that it was "watched" like Sherlock's)... The series is back on next week and I'm just like "nice...".

But this! They just started filming this and I'm aware that we will wait a long time before it's back on but I'm already excited! I love that feeling Sherlock has about serial killers -- when you've got something to look forward to. :D

And about the WIM thing -- some funny ideas you had. But I think even if those are the real initials for the episode, (and I don't think they are -- like for films they always use those "cover" titles) it wouldn't be called something so... simple, if you know what I mean.

Loo Brealey and Jonathan Aris also seen on set.  If they have Lestrade and Donovan... we have a crime scene set.  Just saying.

 

And our sweet Molly outside of the morgue...she's only been outside of the morgue/labs once for ASIB.  Maybe she is Sherlock's date to a costumed event that went badly wrong?  Murder!

 

Decorated Christmas trees seen coming out of one of the trucks...so it IS an episode that takes place at Christmas, and that means we'll see it in December.  Just saying... again.
