At least we're not still discussing shoes.... :p

Shoe discussion is almost better than the 2 second teaser. Almost. Now if we were discussing Andrew's shoes from his various roles including Moriarty and comparing them to Benedict's (or other cast member), then it might be more interesting.

Why not???? It's very relevant.

Shoes --> Carl Powers --> Sherlock --> Moriarty --> Andrew Scott

It's where it begins.

Then after that laughing fit:

If we are talking about Andrew's shoes, we wouldn't be stuck at the beginning necessarily.

Now for something completely different:

Is anyone planning on seeing Victor Frankenstein in about 7.5 weeks when it opens (November 25 here in the US, aka the day before Thanksgiving)? Seriously thinking about it, but don't know if I'll have the funds.

Wow, you're absolutely right!  Thanks, VBS!  What a relief  -- we've been on-topic all along!

As a celebrity you have to learn to operate all those funny devices to make selfies with the fans ;-)DC is taking quite long to sign and make pix.

Men are screeming as much as women, they just have deeper voices and cannot be heard so clear.

The decorations are really impressive.

There seem to be a special tribune for like disabled people... or VIP? Both? They seem to get special attention from the stars.

Is Andrew actually attending? Haven't followed this until I stumbled about the YouTube broadcast...

Oh, Ralph Fiennes is there.

Still no Andy but I hear screaming... now he's there!

But they don't show him :(

I wouldn't recognize Ralph Fiennes on the street...

Short interview with Andy... "I thought it (making Bond) would be better than sitting on a sofa, he said". :D

Ben Wishaw...

Still not much of Andrew. :(

Gosh, now the carpet is more crowded than the sidewalks...

It's getting boring...

Sherlockology has posted their review of Spectre,

... including this paragraph (possible mild spoilers):

And of course, there's Andrew Scott, in fine, smarmily English accented form as Max Denbigh, the new head of MI5 and the butt of the film's strongest moments of humour as various characters hint at suggestions of potential versions of his code name of C. For Sherlock fans, there's a rather good moment relating to his final moments on screen that could be very well appreciated - depending on how you want to interpret it. Most importantly, there's no sign of Jim Moriarty at all here, despite some fairly obvious temptations relating to the material - a testament to Andrew's acting skills.

Just saw Spectre. My friend loves Andrews Moriarty, and we laughed about how this could totally be something Moriarty could do to hurt Sherlock.

And yes,

his way of dying

had us gasping..

I wish I could have been an observant fly on the wall near Mr Scott at their first read-through, with Craig saying "Did you miss me?" to Blofeld. Did he have the impulse to say: "Hang on, a minute, that's MY line!", because it was an extremely funny moment for me, as I watched Spectre!

Here's Sherlockology's review of Andrew Scott's new film The Dazzle:

tumblr_nzegol4Gbk1qkgkowo1_500.jpg

Playing in an extremely limited season until January 30 2016, The Dazzle is playwright Richard Greenberg's fictionalised retelling of the lives of the Collyer Brothers - infamous in New York in the early part of the 20th Century for their eccentric existence. It is a fascinating, strange, and sad portrayal of obsessive behaviour and undefined mental illness that cheerfully veers across the line that separates comedy and tragedy.

With the new TAB app, I can get all of Sherlockology without having to go through the forum! Three fantastic wallpapers, a lovely exclusive snippet of BC talking to fans on February 7 in full Victorian costume, (the really funny moment comes right at the end, as he gets into the car, deerstalker slipping off, and he firmly straightens it inside the car, mindful of Martin's "Because you're Sherlock Holmes, wear the b***** hat"?) the goodies keep on coming! There's a rather alarming quartet of torsos that hints at a Moriarty reappearance, too. It's my one investment in post-HOB Sherlock that has brought only cheer and no disappointment, yet.
