Link button causing Explorer to freeze

I should have my son run some forum tests on his laptop.  He is running Win 10.  Maybe tomorrow I will leave that as a task for him to do.

I had johnspec check it out.  He is using Chrome on Windows 10. Everything seems to be working fine for him with the issues you mentioned Arcadia.

Okay, I upgraded from 8.1 to 10. Problem solved. Although the word wrap is still wonky.

I take it you mean Explorer no longer freezes up when you try to Link?  Is MultiQuote working for you now?  What about the emoties?  Copy / paste?

Too bad about the wrap.  If upgrading to 10 fixed that, I might be tempted!

Yep, it's all working like it should now. And the interface is superior to 8, in the sense that you don't have to hunt as hard for the "power off" button. And anything's better than Vista, which I've loathed since Day 1. Bring back XP!!!

The word wrap wraps -- it's just rather ignorant about hyphenation. Still, that's better than Firefox, which has no word wrap at all unless you know how to edit the software.

According to Mozilla tech support, Firefox also wraps, but recent revs need more specific instructions than used to be the case.  They expected that the editor software that the forum uses should be updated soon to take that into account.  Sure hope they're right!
