Her - 8/10

I like Her.

There is a sad reality in it in current world.

Secret Life of Pets - only 7/10, because there were too many places were it was too loud for too long, and you knew how it would end five minutes after it started. But high marks for really funny-but-true animal behavior!

Oh..saw the trailer too and thought it would be fun. Doesn't sound like it's worth it?

Zootopia, 7/10. Can't give it higher because it's so predictable, but it's entertaining and I love me some sloths. Always fascinated watching them but I would go crazy if I had anything urgent to do. :D

Some part reminds me of HOB :)

Saw Now You See Me 1&2. Been pending to watch 2, just because I hadn't had chance to see 1.

I like them, entertaining and quite original in their own way. The casts are good and the stunts are cool.

8.5/10.

Yay! Now I really can't wait to see it! In the trailer there was only cats, dogs, birds and a hamster I think...

I don't know...the people I was with thought it was great. But I liked Zootopia better, for what that's worth.

I'd really like to see that one but haven't because I haven't seen the first one yet either. Would it spoil it to see the second one first?

Yes!

I almost did that, luckily I didn't and watched Finding Dory instead.

I hesitated at first about Finding Dory because I thought it's predictable sequel, but it's surprisingly enjoyable, the animation quality is amazing. And lol at Hank, Becky and Gerald. Hi hi hi hi :p

Now You See Me 2 makes full sense only in light of #1.  I thought both were done well with #2 better.

Just watched most of Crimson Peak (had to leave to pick up johnspec) so not sure how it ended (may finish it tomorrow morning).  Found it kind of interesting despite the somewhat gory violence.  Hiddleston's character is somewhat fascinating.

Enemy - 7/10

Enemy is a really really confusing movie by Denis Villeneuve the man who made Prisoners, one of the greatest thrillers of past years.

In fact Enemy is maybe the most confusing movie I've seen so far.

I had to watch an explanation video in order to understand the movie.

Gyllenhaal is great as always.

Psycho - 10/10

Finally saw this movie.

Alfred Hitchcock's probably most famous masterpiece.

The shower scene is one of the most famous and most quoted scenes in cinema.

Psycho is truly a masterpiece a psychological thriller from the master of suspense himself.

Vertigo scared the bejeebers out of me when I was a little kid, I had a phobia about eyes for years afterwards. I finally made myself watch it again as an adult, and wondered what the heck I was so upset about!

Psycho's a great film, fortunately I didn't see it as a child or I might not have bathed for years. :d

The Bourne Identity (the first one), 10/10. Took me completely by surprise, I didn't expect to like it anywhere near as well as I did. I seem to remember the sequels were good too.

Hey I like The Bourne Identity, although I only give it an 8/10. I like that no one can touch him because he doesn't let it. Wish I have that capability too :p.

I remember the second one Supremacy is good as well, but nearly walked out the theatre on the third one Ultimatum because of shaky camera. I guess the story is decent, and has nice tie in but shaky cam really disturbed my enjoyment. It doesn't help that I'm prone to motion sickness and have light nerve imbalance once in a while. Don't remember watching the 4th (Jeremy Renner) but will watch the new Matt Damon's when it's out. Anyway it's been a while I don't remember them enough to rate it, only remember first one because I wacthed it more than once.

Oh shaky cam brings me subjectively to one movie I hate the most; Cloverfield. Normally I experience nausea in big screen, but watched this one at home and couldn't sit through it. I remember the plot and flow is horrible too, although it ptobably means to be that way. Willingly rate it 1/10. Really, really hate it.

Watched Maigret Sets a Trap, of course incomparable to Sherlock, but it has nice classic feel and I forget Rowan Atkinson is a comedian too, which is a compliment. 7/10

I like Everest (8/10), for strange reason it makes me want to try it someday, but maybe I never will because it costs arm, leg, kidney(s). Although I had climbed quite a lot of mountains, had never tried any of the seven summits.

127 hours (7.5/10). It's crazy, but well made. Moral of the story, keep your Victorinox sharp. Oh, not that? But that is important too!

I loved all 4 Bourne movies & am looking forward to the next one. I wish Matt Damon & Jeremy Renner would be forced to cross paths in their respective character's storylines beyond the cameo face of Jason Bourne in Legacy.

;)

The actual crazy thing about those movies is that, at least Vertigo, received mixed reviews when it came out.

Those guys back then had no idea what a good movie is...or Hitchcock was just ahead of his time.

Re: 127 hours

I had the "pleasure" to read the original, true story. My stomach didn't like it. So I didn't even try to watch the movie.

I contemplate what I would do in that situation, and it seems like there are hardly other options.

But I really want to go to the cave they went.
