Well, I guess I should get the ball rolling here...

Hello, my name is Banshee (or KelticBanshee on some other sites), I live in Bristol (the one in the UK), and I am the proud keeper of three dragons: Ianto (the red one), Rhys (the green one) and Tosh (the purple one). I am also a mad knitter and crafter in general, having recently discovered that I can also make beaded stitchmarkers... I don't read as much as I used to, I don't write as much as I used to, and I watch way more TV than I used to.

I absolutely adore what Moffat and Gatiss have done with Sherlock, and how they've transformed it from that Victorian drama with horses and petticoats into what it used to be when it was written: something contemporary, witty and different. And I also think the cast are absolutely superb, and whoever brought them together deserves a medal and cake (lots of).

And I still haven't figured out how Sherlock pulled off the end of series 2. So I'm looking forward to series 3, and hoping that they'll play with the dynamics between Sherlock and Watson on the aftermath of it all.

For those that know me from LJ and might be wondering, no, I don't write Sherlock fanfic, and I don't think I'll ever do. I don't think I could do Sherlock justice, much as certain moments in the show so far have tempted me to. Of course, I said the same about other fandoms before... (Torchwood, I'm looking at you...)

Well, I for one hope that Sherlock does tempt you to write...

Well he does tempt me. A lot. Well, mostly Watson, to be honest. The way he is... dragged into Sherlock's life, into Sherlock's madness, and much as he tries to resist it, holding on to the little shreds of normality that are left...

That moment at the end of Series 2 when Watson visits Sherlock's supposed grave, all those little gestures, and the way he eventually squares up and stands to attention, and he looks like he is about to salute...

It really tempts me. But I don't think I could write Sherlock properly. He's too clever :D

Oh I know what you mean about writing Sherlock himself. Luckily, my muse seems to be John Watson - possibly due to a shared background as health professionals - and he's much easier to understand.

Yeah, he's... the everyday guy that gets trapped into something bigger than himself, and just... rolls with it as best as he can! :D

Hello :wave3: Have we met? :lol2:

Ahm... I think we have. If you look to your right right now, I might be the crazy one sitting there with a matching laptop and editing your forum to get things to show up where they can be seen :P
