Yes!  It’s a webcomic series called “Strange Planet” by Nathan W. Pyle.  You can find him pretty much everywhere: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, etc., and his own website.  I love it, lol.

These cartoons represent alien "translations" of songs familiar to English speakers in the US.  The new lyrics work quite well with the original tune in each case.  If you don't recognize them, here are links to the original songs:

Here's the original version of the first song (above) -- and note that the aliens are using the traditional gestures.  (I had never heard any stanzas other than the first one, and suspect that the others may have been supplied by whoever made that video.)

And here's the original version of the second song.  (All the stanzas of that one are traditional, though I don't recognize the part sung later on by the backup group.)

This was one of my favorite movies.  I watched it so many times, lol.

When my parents would let me rent a movie from the video store, it was always one of the same three: "The Swan Princess", "The Last Unicorn", or "John the Fearless", lol.  I have yet to meet another person who's seen "John the Fearless".

Ditto. One of the few non-Disney animations I've enjoyed.

You mean I'm not the only one who obsesses over her exclamation-mark ratio?  Yay!

Someone (a teacher, my Dad, someone like that) once told me exclamations were the mark of poor writing. I was terrified of the things for decades after. I'm still wary of them.

I try to limit them pretty severely, so that A} they don't lose their impact and B} I don't sound like a blithering idiot.  They clearly serve a purpose, though, so I do use them in situations where they add something to the meaning.

But I'm not really as stuffy as that makes me sound!

I wonder if anyone's done a study to find out if introverts are more likely to survive a plague than extroverts? :D
