Ian Hallard in Tumulus.

I saw this play at the Soho theatre.

It did exactly what it said on the tin: a dark, gay comedy.

It was about the discovery of dead, young, gay men on Hampstead Heath...so had a bit of a detective vibe about it.

3 main actors playing multiple roles.

Ian was the oldest of them, but was very good.

Well you might know:  I have NEVER done the red pants thing...one of my least favourite aspects of the fandom: just where do all these idiocies hail from?

Anyhow, it was my second time of seeing Ian in live theatre.

I preferred his first outing.

But this was very good and I did enjoy it.

It has to be said: he is an exceptionally gorgeous man!

This was very dark subject matter and I thought a brave presentation of it.

Being a fan of Mark gives you an advantage of a gorgeous spouse you can also droll about. :D I would love to meet Ian.

Re. the pants: I don't do them either, ("I'm no shipper" said with the voice of Eowyn) but there are things you just cannot avoid being on social media.

Red pants???? This is one aspect of the fandom I've managed to miss out on entirely.  Just as well, no doubt.

John Watson wearing flashy red underwear is apparently a canon in the Johnlock universe. But I know it only from some comments on fanarts featuring said part of apparel. Not that I look for them, but you cannot be on Tumblr and avoid this stuff.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
