Which author would be recommended for reading the "Missing Cases of Sherlock Holmes"?

But it isn't his name and is both the same and worse.

As someone who has been called "Freak" and "a freak", I concur.

I bow to your experience.

Would love to know what Sherlock thinks about it, but then again I guess it's none of my business.

I doubt he cares one iota.

Hard disagree there; I think he cares.  He cared when Seb said "We hated him."  It was written on his face.  He's not untouchable, words hurt him.  He just doesn't fall apart because of them.

Seeing as he's a fictional character, it's your business if you make it your business!  :D

Nor would he admit it.

Sorry, I was referring to the Seb incident!

On the Anderson-Sally thing...

Did Sally upgrade her affections?!

Did she fancy Greg later on, do we think?

Oh, of course.  Sorry!  You may be right about that, although I've always just thought he looked sad, presumably remembering how he'd felt at the time.

Well, I'm gonna guess Anderson wasn't much fun during the "Many Happy Returns" era, and of course he no longer worked with her, so it would have been easy enough for her to dump him at that point.  As for her taking up with Greg -- that never occurred to me, but they were both apparently unattached -- so maybe?  They seemed very professional towards each other at work, but after hours, who knows?
