Thanks, Herlock!  They were predicting some dangerous weather here, and it was pretty bad yesterday, but nevertheless I was able to drive my cat to the veterinarian without too much difficulty -- just had to go slower than usual and be prepared for the occasional extra-strong gust of wind.  I think they've had it worse in other places, though.

Anyhow, Merry Christmas, everybody!
