ah, i can't be a blind hater. it's ridiculous to pass judgement without even watching the show lol n yes, after having seen both, i will prefer the BBC one. Like you said, they need to churn out episodes every week while Sherlock writers have time to bring out 3 movies each year and they are doing a fab job with that. I too will keep watching Elementary but like I said, I skip scenes and in Sherlock I don't. Hope this changes for ele. n doesn't for Sher

Exactly, they should have not used the name of Holmes and should have gone for shorter but tighter episodes. The moment one can miss scenes and yet not feel like missing anything, it shows the makers need to do more on the content!

I follow both, Sherlock and Elementary. Though I prefer the BBC version not because Elemantry used the same idea or that Watson became a female, I just can't associate Johnny's character with Sher Maybe if they didn't claim to be Holmes n Watson... I watch it coz I love detective shows ^_^ and then, even when the BBC one goes for 90mins I don't skip any scene but unfortunately lately I have started forwarding scenes of Elementary n still don't feel like I missed anything. No offence meant to any Elementary fans here

oh gosh. this is awesome. now i know why original sherlock fans have no issue with this show coz the writers themselves, as u rightly said, know their sherlock!!

ah, wow.. thanks for the detailed reply!

I came across a youtube vid of a show from Russia, they've tweaked a bit of the Sherlock theme tune and are using it!

Thank you all for the welcome And sorry, but I have another question - could be dumb but still here it goes... In the episode where Watson reaches the Diogenes Club to meet Mycroft, why do the people there behave so strange? and then those 2 men pick him up shutting him... They should have a 'spin-off', where mere mortals like me get explained everything lol

True. Watson, Lestrate, Mrs Hudson, Molly - they will always stand up for our hero.

Yeah and specially after his 'boss' mocked him for trusting Sherlock I loved when Watson punched him hahahaha

Thanks so much It is fun to be among fellow Sherlock lovers! Did you guys see the set coming to life? I hope all our questions get answered in the coming episodes and that Watson will have some pretty things to say to Sherlock for giving him such a heart attack lol This show is really awesome coz of this.. each time we notice something new, the team has done a gr8 job

ah, this really makes sense! the 1st time I saw the epi, I was lost in Ben and his portrayal.. the 2nd time trying to look for clues and it was only the 3rd time that I thought about the cops lol

Hi, I was watching the episode: the reichenbach fall, and near the end when Watson gets the msg that Mrs Hudson is serious and reaches Baker Street, why are cops not keeping an eye on the house incase one of them turns up there? Isn't that how normally police works? As I start watching episodes, I realize there are things I didn't understand but was so amazed by the stories and the actors that I over look lol Please help me out.
