Detective/Sherlock type games

Would any of you guys be a knowing a really good game which can be played online, which is like a murder mystery like ones our own sherlock solves? I am not very interested in online board games as such. I tried googling it but did not find any interesting ones. I am a bit bored for now, so i just wanted something to stimulate me, if you know what i mean

Have you tried the online gaming site "Big Fish"? I think they have a Sherlock Holmes game or two. They are mostly hidden object games but they do kind of follow a story line. They have one called "Hound of the Baskervilles". The only problem the free samples are only an hour long. To play the full game they want you to pay. I know of one free play Sherlock Holmes game but it's very short and has no variations.

Thanks, i'll try the website you mentioned. I would also like to know about any other riddle based online games.

There are mystery games all over the place. Facebook has quite a few. The big problem with those apps is that if you don't invite "friends" and if they don't respond to the request, you're not going to get very far.

Oh , the facebook ones are such a drag. I am not active in Fb too.

I hear you there. I play some of them because i get invites but I have used the delete feature quite a bit too.
