  1. http://fraughtwithsparkles.tumblr.com >> Mostly Sherlock and the other main tumblr TV fandoms! Oh, and funny things, and pretty things, because they're generally irresistible.
  2. Almost Human, which has Karl Urban (Bones from ST:ID) in it, is pretty amazing! It's still running it's first season, and is only on episode 9 at the moment, so there's not really too much catch-up to do. It's about a future in which crime has developed to such an extent that almost-sentient androids have been developed to help the police. Dorian (who is so adorably amazing and is played by Michael Ealy) is an android that was de-activated because it was too-human for comfort - it had outbursts of anger and breakdowns sometimes, just like a normal human would. Dorian gets paired up with android-hating PTSD-suffering Inspector Kennex, who has recently returned to the force after an attack that left him in a coma for almost two years. It's just generally a pretty solid programme, and if you like sci-fi then you will like this!
  3. Thank you, I'm sure I will!! Swearing at TVs has become a national past-time of Britain, I think. I was honestly surprised at how many of my teachers were talking about His Last Vow the day after it aired!
  4. Thanks very much, the both of you! It is quite exciting, actually - I've yet to start school and such here in India, and well.. I haven't actually been outside the flat yet! I'm planning to essentially try and make friends by using my school introduction as a time to list my favourite TV shows, and go from there. Thank you very much for letting me know - I'll try and hit them up! (Well, I say 'talk'... I mean shout in disbelief and occasionally swear loudly.)
  5. Heya! I'm fraughtwithsparkles - except, that's a bit of a mouthful, so, y'know, any variation of that works. Sparkles is the one that tends to get used most often. I'm a teenager from SE England who's currently living in India for a year. I'm fond of writing fanfiction and talking sarcastically to TV shows. I also enjoy RPG games and talking. I tend to ramble when I'm nervous (and since I'm sorta very slightly bad at this whole social get-out-there and talk to people thing I am a little nervous), so sorry about that! Anyway, I was introduced to the BBC's version of Sherlock last year summer, though I'd read ACD's Study in Scarlet before that. I'm one of those people who likes to theorise and poke holes in episodes, only to hurriedly and strategically retreat when I find any flaws. It's nice to meet all of you, and, uh, I hope we get along! (awkwardly shuffles)
