I feel like I need to read a really good fanfic right now with an alternate ending to this episode...one where johnlock becomes canon. If I don't find one soon I may just end up writing it myself ^_^

AGREED. I was literally screaming in excitement until I realized it was from 5 years ago...still exciting as he's such an amazing actor and my favorite villain. I liked that they incorporated him into the last episode somehow.

I'm still processing the episode, I can't deal with this. I'm a bit confused and I agree it felt like somebody died at the end because it felt like the end of the series. I really hope it isn't the last episode because I feel so heartbroken right now. Also when Mary started talking at the end I thought she was for sure going in the direction of telling them that they should be together. She didn't explicitly say it but I feel like what she said at the end was said in the way it was so that Johnlockers wouldnt be totally disappointed and have something to hold on to still. but also, it wasn't enough. AND WHY DIDNT JOHN SAY ANYTHING WHEN SHERLOCK WAS ABOUT TO SHOOT HIMSELF. that was out of character for him. Reeling with emotion and confusion rn- I'm re-watching it tomorrow night in theaters so hopefully I will be able to process it after a second time of watching.
