That's right, Moffat said that he had 4 and 5 planned out but only that there would be a season 4 for definite. Someone asked if we would have to wait two years again, and he said he would try and get it done sooner, but it depends on the actors schedules, to which Amanda said that Martin is free from April, so I'm holding out hope that we'll get in a year!

I just Googled, it is yes! My SH obsession started last year, and House was already finished. So I wouldn't have been making connections when I was watching. But now I want to rewatch the whole series!

I'm a little late to the party, I know this is an old thread! But I love House. I am ashamed to admit I didn't know House was based on Sherlock Holmes until recently, even though I've watched all the seasons! I would say it's loosely based though, House does make some extraordinary deductions for his patients, he also has a similar personality to SH in that he doesn't generally care about people, he has one friend (whose initials are JW), and an addiction to vicodin. Thats as far as I can see the comparisons go!

We were sworn to secrecy haha - not that I would anyway. I came into the Sherlock fandom only this year after seeing things on tumblr, I already knew how Reichenbach was going to end being I watched A Study in Pink, so I don't do spoilers! What I will say however is, it was absolutely fantastic, several mouth dropping moments, and an epic cliffhanger! Well worth the wait Also Moffat confirmed season 4, and even said he'd try to make it in less than two years!

There were a few public tickets, I was very lucky and managed to get two. Obviously I will absolutely not post anything that is even remotely spoilery (promise!) but I just wondered if anyone was going to be around, I would have liked to meet some Sherlockians!

I hope that this is okay to post. I'm just wondering if anyone will be attending or if there's a fan meetup? There doesn't seem to be much information on it like there was with the The Empty Hearse premiere at the BFI!
