Sherlock's Bag

[Bakerstreet Irregular]

Son of a Gun! I just went to Google and typed in Vintage camera bag and it took me to Ebay and the first image is of a bag with a big tag on the front  CADBN  so very much like what I was seeing with the magnifying glass! The bag itself is different then the one Sherlock was carrying, but that tag looks so very similar.

  Put out by DSLR.

Actually, I suspect that the manufacturer is CADBN, though I've never heard of them.  (DSLR stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex, a type of camera.)  OK, I tried searching on that, and Google thinks I probably mean CADEN, which makes sense, since B and E look so much alike.

Here's a whole bunch of photos of Caden camera bags.

In a lot of the images the "E"  actually looks like a "B" or an "8" don't know what's up with that but anyway. We may have found it anyway.

Yeah, I see what you mean.  Their logo is pretty low-contrast.  I had to load several photos before finding one that I could read at all.

I've sent now an email to Sherlockology and hope for an answer. But the brand Caden looks pretty close, although I cannot find the exact bag. You've had great ideas with it, thank you very, very much!

I haven't yet received an answer from Sherlockology, so I thought that I'd try the Hartswood adress. Which one would you chose? The email or the contact? (Or do both adresses end up being on the same place? )

If you call, use the Cardiff number, I'd think. I'd try emailing first and include a screenshot of the bag.
