Well, look at Sherlock and Mycroft's parents - they're ordinary and, honestly, seem a bit dull, yet their children are arguably the two most genius men in Britain. Aside from Professor Moriarty and other genius villains that they have to face and overcome, of course.

I got the complete set from my Mom as a gift - she got it off of Amazon for the fairly reasonable price of $8.41 for all four novels and fifty-six short stories in two volumes. I believe the stories are in the order Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote them. One word of caution is that the font isn't overly large - I'd say it's about 12 to 11 points - I don't know if that would be a problem or not. As far as quality of the books goes I'm very pleased with them. They've held up very well, and I have yet to notice any typos in any of the stories. I don't have a clear recollection of how I found Sherlockology, but I believe it was through looking up desktop wallpapers on Google Images. I found the Sherlockology Calendar and fell in love with the idea of having to solve for the pictures (although I struggle with solving them on my own without a hint). It was actually through the Wallpapers that I found this forum, which I love by the way. I have been looking for a way to connect with other Sherlockians but hadn't been able to find one that I liked the looks of. I'm so glad I have now. .
