Do we really need to hide everything since we're at the "Spoilers, Speculations e rumors" part of the forum?

Good morning (lol, that reply took a while) Just wanted to add an important piece of info I forgot: english isn't my first language (I'm brazilian) so please feel free to correct any mistakes I make ^^

I think it'd be more apropriateif we took this to Irene's Lounge...

I don't think he is alive; the scene was too clear for there to be any doubt. I mean, if he had shot himself in any other way there might have been a chance, but the way he did it made me think there's no oher choice.. Although this reminds me of a comic I saw yesterday in tumblr: Moriarty did fake it, suddenly stands up and goes "surprise!" looks around for Sherlock and when he sees that Sherlock jumped he goes "Oh sh** he really did it O.O"

Since this part of the forum is so empty, I decided to do something in it. So I'll suggest a drinking game, I'll put up some suggestions and you guys can either add more stuff or try this out! For those who can't hold their alcohol... - Drink everytime Moriarty has a sudden mood swing. - Drink everytime you see John on a date. If you want to get tipsy... - Drink everytime Sherlock and John look as if they're eye-F***ing each other. - Drink everytime John flirts with a woman. To get really drunk... -Drink everytime someone thinks John and Sherlock are a couple. -Drink everytime Sherlock demonstrates emotions a fully-functioning sociopath shouldn't have (Ex: worry, care for others etc). To get yourself in a comma... -Drink everytime there's a reference or nod to the original Sherlock Holmes novels (for some help, check out "Mythology gag" on the Sherlock tvtropes page). -Drink everytime there's a line of scene that could be seen/understood as/mistaken for subtext. For the suicidal ones... - Drink everytime Cumberbatch looks hot (that should kill anyone within 10 minutes)

Here, I'll lend you mine.

I have no idea, I was too busy drooling to pay attention

But why should I have to choose? That's what threesomes were created for Anyway, your ploy worked only half: I fret over the answer but did not randomly choose, HA! XP

I thinkt he did that in relief when he realized there was another way, since Moriarty "was just like him". But I guess it could be a signal too...
-
I demand another option: ( ) John + Sherlock As hot and sexy and gorgeous and wonderful as Sherlock is, I think most of what makes me like him is thanks to John's presence, and so I picked him ^^

I agree, the 'moment alone' makes a lot of sense if he wanted to signal someone...

Rewatching Reichenbach, I've been wondering about the crimes we see him solve at the beginning: they're not his usual cup of tea are they? He loves murders and psychos but we see him: retrieve a famous painting, save kidnapped famous person, find famous fugitive. In other words: crimes that call a lot of attention but aren't what he normally call interesting. This coming from the guy that hardly enjoyed the many people that started looking for him at the start. Worst, John has to point out he is no longer a private detective and Sherlock didn't mind. So, if my guess that Sherlock knew his fate for a while is correct, then his sudden change in atitude towards the crime he solves might have been purposedly done to call the attention to the press, maybe hoping Moriarty would take the bait and use the publicity as his downfall? Or simply to hurry up the plans he already new Moriarty had...

That's what I thought too...but hey, single is so much better for my imagination

Oho, if we're mentioning subtext... During Sherlock's break down there's a heart-shaped decoration ^^ And I apparently theer's a hint that their room only had one bed, but I can't confirm that...

It was my favorite episode because: -didn't end like Reichenbach -character development: i love/crave it. And this episode was full of for Sherlock. He confronted his feelings of fear and the confusion of not being able to fully trust in what his eyes told him and as such not be fully rational. It was wonderful seeing how he didn't push all his feelings away either; during his talk with John, he said he didn't have friends because he wanted to master his emotions (and avoid being overcome by them again) by destroying any source of them (John friends) but does he stick to this "mind over heart" mentality to protect himself? Nope, next day he chose his relationship with John over being rational (when he told John he was his only friend), even though he had no evidence to suggest this might be a good idea at all. ...and this is me talking about the episode without my slashgoggles on...

I would love to play! But I'd need to be a minor character since I'm really busy...

I liked them, they were fun. I rememberfinding flaws in the plot but I forgot what they were... RDJ and JL were very different from how I imagined Holmes and Watson to be like, but that made the movie interesting and a bit refreshing. The fact that they didn't try to start the movie at the beginning of their partnership was fun and I laughed at their bickering. It's a pity that there was no character development (that I noticed at least), because I love that. .

Ok then...I pick Lestrade. Love the way they made the character and his acting ^^
-
Honestly, the cast is so sexy and hot wonderful I'd jump any of them be thrilled if anyone appeared ^^
-
Let's see: -MOAR EPISODES!!!! (Seriously, the only reason I'm paying 30 dollars for a 3 episode dvd is cause this is so awesome it's worth it) -When Sherlock comes back, I want them to make it like in The Empty Chair including

They're back, thank you!

Hello, I was looking through the forum as a guest and saw this topic: "Speculation: What Would You Like To See In Series 3?" I logged in to reply...but was told I didn't have permission to see it. I don't think it belonged to Irene's lounge...or did it? Anyway, please tell me why it's locked ;_; EDIT: just checked and apparently another speculation thread I posted in before is also locked for me now. Not only that, but I can't even see the threads when I log in and I can't see Irene's Lounge either (although I never had permission to go there to begin with). Please tell me if this is a bug or if I did something wrong...

Fangirls: making public outcries over fictional and slashable characters since 1893. And I just found this: "Following the acceptance of A Study in Scarlet, for which he was paid the paltry sum of £25, Conan Doyle decided to test his powers to the full with a long historical novel. The outcome was the highly successful Micah Clarke, which finally appeared in 1889. It must have been pleasing to Conan Doyle that the novel became a topic of conversation between himself and Oscar Wilde when the two met, along with J.M. Stoddart of Lippincott's Magazine, for dinner in the summer of 1889—a dinner which ended with Conan Doyle receiving a commission to write a further Sherlock Holmes adventure (The Sign of the Four), and Wilde the commission for The Picture of Dorian Gray." Hello and nice to meet you! Now please change your icon, it's very distracting *drools*

It's nice to read a new reason for Doyle's Holmes and Watson to act the way they did ^^ I love deep analysis but the only one I've ever read regarding the original Holmes is this one, which is a book by book analysis of all the homoerotic subtext supposedly hidden in the novels (interesting, and sometimes a bit believable). Btw, I read somewhere (I think tvtropes...) that Doyle was going to stop writing SH but then he met up with Oscar Wilde and decided to continue. True?
