  1. I liked this episode, quite much, but maybe I had to high expectation or something, because some things kind of disapointed me... First, none of the question set in the first episode were answered, and it seemed like they were forgotten... I'm sure they will be answered, at least in some part, in the next episode, but I hopped a bit more... and Sherlock was a bit slow with his deducions this time, I mean, I new who was the victim before him, and that's weird... But I realy loved the online interogation, with Mycroft : very surprising, in a good way !
  2. I just finished re+watch the episode : the first time this afternoon, without subtitles... I was like "yeah... Didn't get everything, but what I get was great..." Second time, few minutes ago, with "fast subtitles" "Oh god, it's just awesome ! Still need a rewatch, with "propper" subtitles !" Any way, I just loved it. And it is just so pleasant to have the showback ! A question came to me, at the end of the rewatch. During the "Sherlock explaining to Anderson" scene, Sherlock speaks about the person who had to look like him to adopt the girl, and said Moriarty probably killed him... Well, as I think this "explaination" is not quite right, I'm wondering if, if this person isn't dead, could he be Molly's boyfriend ? Rule number one : Sherlock lies... Oh, wrong show ? I didn't thought of that, but when I read it, I have to admit, I found it quite intersting. Hope we'll learn a lot more about her character My thought exactly ! I really loved all the "poking up at the fans", of any sort. Oh and happy new Sherlock/year, everyone !
  3. Oh... sorry! But - what did you make of A Scandal in Belgravia, then? Don't you think he fell in love with Irene, in his own peculiar way? For your consolation, if the writers stick to the original concept, that should have been it. You can't have the woman if there are more to follow, can you. And even if they let her show up again (I'm still not sure whether I want them to or no), I can't imagine her as part of a regular humdrum happy couple holding hands and going to the movies than I can him. They might manage some kind of standing flirtation with or without the occasional close encounter, but I really can't picture them keeping the house. Maybe it's just me, who really don't want him to be more human than he has to be because of the realistic world, but I felt like it was more of a big flirt than actual love... I said I thought it was a seducing game, and I don't know how to say it otherwhile... But maybe it's just the dark-sleeping-fangirl in me who just don't want this character to be in love with anyone (else) ^^ That would be so funny ! I actually am picturing them both saying that ! Yeah, how did I forgot that ? *kill herself* But still, it's not the same to live with someone as a roomate or as couple... Yeah, I don't know if he is capable of love, but I'm sure that in a relationship, those details would be left out ! (I have to say, I don't want to know much about it... would be odd !)
  4. Very well summed up. That's definitely the kind of love story I like to read and fantasize about (and would go any lengths to avoid in real life). The problem with applying that to Sherlock is that I wouldn't want him to change one bit. I think he's quite perfect already. Oh no, please, don't make him change for a (stupide ?) lovestory >.< That's precisly why I think he can't be in a relationship, in a romantic way. It couldn't last... or even begin. I don't know, this discussion is driving me crazy I just can't pictured him in love with anyone, neither can I picture a person who could survive his personnality !
  5. Yeah, sorry, I meant "love" in a romantic way ^^' Probably some kind of masochist admirative and very patient woman could be with him... But I don't know if he could be with her ^^
  6. Better late than never... Merry Christmas everyone !
  7. Hey guys (sorry I haven't been around for a while... But I'm back !) So... I just think that Sherlock isn't able of love, for any one. Friendship, trust and respect, are probably the most he can do... Beside, I probably hate to see him in a relationship, with Irene or Molly. I would think it's funny for a fanfic, or a special episode which wouldn't be part of the rest of the story, but please, nothing more ! More than that, I like the seduccing game between him and Irene, and that's what I like about this relation : it's a game ! When the game end, it stop being interesting. And whit Molly... poor her !
  8. I think we all agree that it's not the same kind of caring... As you don't love your mother with the same love you love your friends, and you love none of them with the same love you love your partner...
  9. Hello you ! Welcome \(^~^)/ Just select "mutltiquote" on every post you want to quote. When you're done, just use the "Reply to X quoted post(s)" ^^
  10. Jeremy Brett, he is my first Sherlock, and he introduced me to the character^^ But I have to admit, without Cumberbatch, I don't have many choice, I only know Robert Downey Junior, and Jonny Lee Miller who is not, to me, a good Sherlock. Probably because of the show (Elementary) which seems to be a bad remake of Sherlock.
  11. Thank you ! I swear, I will read all the important posts, as soon as I can Oh no, please ! I like Watson more because he is more likeable to me, but Sherlock is more some source of admiration ! And as you said, those characters work best as team. A spin off, maybe, but recalling the show "John" would mean a different direction, and I won't like that, I think ^^ Definitely. I suppose it would be boring to have a show with just (either) one of them, so in a way it's silly to pick one or the other as a favorite. But yeah, John Watson for sure. I was hooked on the show by about ten minutes into "A Study in Pink," and it has remained my favorite show since then. But up until "Reichenbach," I didn't really have a favorite character (other than "all of them"). I will certainly not dispute that all the characters are wonderful and well written, nor that Cumberbatch, Scott, and Freeman (in particular) all gave stunning performances in "Reichenbach," so I guess it all comes down to one's personal taste. I think Sherlock's still well ahead in the poll, though. I agree, it all comes down to one's personal taste. Especially with a show with characters as well written...
  12. I couldn't agree more ! And they are genius of "bringing back without betraying a monument" !
  13. I don't even have to think. Watson. And followed by Sherlock, but Watson come first. Especialy after the final of Season 2... I mean... (spoiler alert, maybe, but I don't know how to "spoiler" my text... don't laugh at me !)
  14. Well, I was watching a minisode of Doctor Who, and saw on the comments someone talking about Steven Moffat being the showrunner of Sherlock, so I tried it, and kind of fall in love ^^
  15. Ouah ! Thanks for the warm welcome I think I'll find easily plenty to talk about T.o.b.y : I don't know, I don't watch TV, but I have the dvds, and we can watch in english with subtitles, or in french, so I guess it is dubbed when diffused on french TV channel ^^
  16. Hey ! So I'm Omega, from France... Guess you'll have to be indulgent with my english Anyway, I'm here because, like most of you, I love Sherlock, and like most of you, I can't wait for January 1st ^^ The most important has been said, so... see you around
