I'm from Los Angeles, California.

I like the BBC series, of course, as well as the Robert Downey Jr. movies, and the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle series.

I just wanted to find some friends who like Sherlock, since it seems like I don't really know anybody who I can talk to about it ;_;

I'm a Sherlockian from Los Angeles.... well, only a Sherlockian of the Sherlock series.  Never read any of the original AC Doyle stories.

It would appear that you're not alone. A lot of people say that this show has been their introduction to the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I think I read some where that the show has sparked a surge in canon book sales. So you''re in good company. Enjoy the ride.
