Too bad -- if it'd been The Temple of Doom, I'd be glad to agree with you (the whole thing was dreadful).  But you'd remember that one -- blecch!

Well if you haven't seen the third one, you're definitely missing out. Sean Connery and Harrison Ford were wonderful as father and son.

No love for the third guest? I'd never heard of Jack Whitehall before but he had me laughing out loud a couple of times .

Yes, I did like that aspect of the third one ("Junior"?!), but still prefer the first one, with his shy professor persona morphing into the bold adventurer (who is only afraid of snakes).

Mr. Cumberbatch will be on the Katie Couric Show on Wednesday (the 16th).  As an advertisement, the show's website has posted a video of him replying to some Twitter questions from fans.  (Sorry, it's a type of video that I don't know how to embed, but that link will take you to it.)

Harrison Ford is in Ender's Game which comes out very soon, so that's possibly why he's making the rounds. The first time I saw Harrison Ford was in an episode of Kung Fu when he was a contract actor for one of the big studios. He was one of the very last actors to be hired that way. The system was dead by then and didn't do him much good which might be why he'd gone back to contract carpentry by the time he was hired for Star Wars.

Katie Couric's web site says, "On Wednesday, Benedict Cumberbatch drops by to talk to Katie about 'Star Trek,' 'Sherlock Holmes' and 'The Fifth Estate' ...." -- so we can hope to hear something about Series 3.  The Couric show is apparently syndicated throughout the US, and you can find your local station here.
