Hello, I'm rather a newcomer to the whole SH fandom, introduced by the excellent BBC series of course, and now reading the books. I'm 40+, married, with 2 cats and a bearded dragon. Oh, I'm rather fond of Benedict Cumberbatch too, but purely out of admiration for his portrayal of Sherlock :sherlock2:   Love your icons btw! I think Irene and Mycroft deserve their own, yes?

Hello, Magpie -- welcome to Sherlock Forum!  :welcome:

Hmm, good point -- if Jim Moriarty   :moriarty:   has his own emoticon, and he's the anti-Mycroft, then it wouldn't be unreasonable for the original Mycroft to have one.  New smileys do occasionally pop up around here, so who knows?

Hello Magpie and welcome to the forum!

I'm curious, are bearded dragons really as friendly as they're said to be? I've heard many good things about them as pets.

Here's my Lizzy- she's very friendly and docile; very inquisitive too. They become accustomed to being held if handled from an early age and Lizzy loves to lay on my chest and shoulder.  If you are interested in keeping a reptile for a pet, I'd definitely consider a beardie .

She certainly looks very confident in that pic . Thank you for the pic and the explanation! I'm usually more of a cuddly fur pet person, but a friend of mine had a boa and I was surprised how personable Amadeus could be ... he'd slither up to you, then up your arm and wrap around your upper arm for warmth (forming a morally acceptable snakeskin bracelet) and stuff like that. Your beardie here definitely doesn't look shy either ;).
