I re-watched The Curse of the Were-Rabbit tonight (lovely, wonderful, just delightful), and what a surprise to see Mark Gatiss' name appear in the closing titles, he did the voice for Miss Blight, so of course I re-watched it again, can I work out which character is Miss Blight, No I can't, but I think it is this character in her lovely yellow ensemble.

Does anyone know if that is Miss Blight?

According to a Wallace and Gromit fan who recreated a scene from this movie....you are right Convict13, the lady in yellow is Miss Blight.

Well I did a bit of discounting the other characters who appeared to all have names, and really only left one choice, so a little bit of detective work.  Oh and it looks a bit like Mark too.

I'm routinely annoyed by productions that show a number of fairly distinctive-looking characters doing some fairly distinctive things, but then identify them in the credits only by a name which was never mentioned -- especially if the production is an animation, so you can't necessarily identify the actor either.

How did you find out that Mark Gatiss's Miss Blight is the woman in the row behind them?

It's what comes up when you Google it - I'm afraid I have no more evidence than that; she doesn't seem to say anything so I'm not quite sure how that works but oh well.

Seems odd that they'd credit a well-known actor for a non-speaking role in an animation.  If this were live-action, then maybe his speaking scenes got cut -- but since claymation is so labor-intensive, I can't imagine they'd bother making much of anything that wouldn't be used.

Then my best guess (having admittedly not seen the movie) is that the other report (Gatiss's character is the gal in yellow) is correct.

Thanks for posting that, though.  When it comes to the internet, it's useful to have all reports available before deciding which seems more plausible.
