Hi i am Ian, from Birmingham, England. Or had you deduced that already? if the answer is yes, your lying. Pleased to be here. Its a new hobby of mine old Sherlock is . although i am a cheat as i listen to the audio books i just got the complete collection for £7.50. I listen to the books and then watch the TV shows to see how accurate they are. Sad i know but hey its fun to me. So far ive just finnished listening to the sign of four and the study in scarlet. Loved them both and have started the next story .

Hi and welcome, Ian!  :)

 

Do you find it weird reading, or in your case listening, and then watching?  I've never read any of the books myself, but from the stuff I've read online it seems like they pick and choose random things here and there from the various cases for each episode.

Welcome, Ian!

 

I love audiobooks, too! For my studies I have to do such a lot of reading that I often don't want to read anything for private fun anymore. But since I love stories I find that audiobooks are just a great way to still get some literary input. I've listened to some of Holmes' adventures on youtube and enjoyed it! So you're definitely not alone :)
