For the past number of months, Enola Holmes' Audience Rating on Rotten Tomatoes was around 70%, which was a decent number but all of a sudden it's down 58%, I've noticed it received a lot of 1 star to less ratings in just last month and a lot of it is complaining about how it's anti-male propaganda. A little suspicious.

If the movie is anything like the book, it quite accurately portrays the situation of Victorian women and the attitude of Victorian males toward them.  Many people have no idea what things were like for women even fifty years ago, let alone a hundred or more.  If the movie is faithful to the book, it's neither anti-male nor propaganda, it's history.  (I really need to see this movie, so I'll know how it does compare to the book!)

I don't appreciate any group (even in cases where I agree with them) attempting to impose its own attitudes upon the population at large (by manipulating opinion polls or whatever).  That's more likely to infuriate other people than to change their minds.  If you want to achieve the latter, first try to understand where other people are coming from.  Otherwise, you're just playing "thought police."

Am I repeating myself?

Note:  If you can't read the quote below, try highlighting it (like you wanted to copy it). That should make it legible. I've seen this problem before, but don't recall ever figuring out what was causing it or how to fix it.

@BBally1981 -- I just rechecked that link, and the audience score is back up to 70% (with a review rating of 90%).

But the movie still appears to be available only on Netflix.  Well, there are a few DVDs being advertised, but not by Netflix (or even by Amazon), so I'm guessing they're pirated, which would explain the low price (5 GBP in one case) -- so who knows if they're any good?
