About Me
I listen to music whenever I am in the car or at a coffee shop, while painting, riding a bike on the trails (not the streets), or at a park. Music is going through my head a lot even if a radio or CD is not playing. I enjoy listening to a variety of styles of music including classical (even though the mellow stuff puts me to sleep :(), Dixie & swing jazz, ragtime, movie score/orchestral pieces, southern gospel, Christian pop, Christian Rock, and some oldies (1950s-1980s). My favorite musician is Jeremy Camp. It is not uncommon to see me conducting music that I really enjoy (including the Sherlock Theme) or that I'm trying to figure out it's time signature. I would love to own a French horn and relearn how to play it. I enjoy creating art in various media with painting being my passion at the moment. I enjoy northern Minnesota in several different spots and would love to be able to travel the world again (and revisit Norway, Sweden, and London plus see the rest of the British isles & a large chunk of continental Europe). I am a mixed bag of a random, overly analytical, systemizer that can be very concrete at times and occasionally sequential which makes for a very messy creative who finishes art projects & books, but not much else. I became a Sherlock fan after watching S1 Episode 2 "The Blind Baker" July 30, 2014. I then proceeded to watch the first episode 2 days later and marathoned the rest that Saturday. And then the withdrawal kicked in when I realized I had over 15 months until the next Sherlock episode would be released. So I did the next best thing and decided to see what else Benedict Cumberbatch had been in besides Amazing Grace (which I saw in the theater back in 2006).
