Not only do I now have a copy of the "Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes" that was hers before she got married (my parents have been married 52 years this year) she also found me an audio book of A Study in Scarlet on tape - which means I can listen to it in the car on the way home. This will be my introduction to ACD.

I've won an ebay auction, so I will be able to tootle away on the tenor recorder again very soon, I have my eyes on a book of baroque music and all - I'm looking forward to getting my fingers on a tenor again, it's been far too many years. I've always felt it has the nicest sound of all the recorders though that may be because I'm biased to lower pitched stuff (I'm an alto, and also prefer the viola to the violin).

That explains why I haven't hit 200 yet...
