Ah, ok. So I'm not horribly out of the loop then. Confidence restored! -
Oohh, the forum feels slightly creepy with a Moriarty in our midst. Welcome to the forums! I love your avatar. It further adds to the ominous feel.

I have this weird thing where I prefer to obtain a physical copy of any media that I wish to keep. I say "weird" because it seems to be a view shared less and less in the technological age. My sister has a Kobo (I think it's a Kobo?), and I've toyed with it, held it in my hands and know how it works, but honestly to me I can't get over the idea of reading a published work on a screen without feeling the pages between my fingertips. This doesn't apply to books, and I'm sure this will open a can of worms, but for my own personal use I feel that if there is something I want to obtain that is not available in my country (i.e. as-of-yet unlicensed anime, or more pertinently, BBC's Sherlock), then I'll admit to obtaining the media in a less-than-legal manner. Am I proud of it? No, I can't say I am. However I have a rule that, if I like it, I buy it when it becomes available in my country, and to stop watching what I've downloaded once I hear that it has been licensed. And I do my regular research to figure out when this happens. I'm no angel, and by no means do I claim to be one. However, by buying a legal version of it once it becomes available in my country I feel like I'm doing my part to support both the creators and the industry that produces the stuff that I like. Hopefully my moral compass points mostly north...?

Shoot the Wall (A.K.A. The Rant Thread)
aSnowyEvening replied to Banshee's topic in Miscellaneous Musings
Emotional flashbacks and resitual emotional scarring from being bullied SUCKS. I wrote more, but I'll just leave it at, I hope that I live to see the day where bullying of ANY kind is tolerated just as kindly as racism on the playground. Because being bullied does not "build character," it just is not right. -

Ooohhh, it's on the tip of my tongue! It's all it takes- one lonely(? two l's), naive man, desperate to show off, and a woman clever enough to make him feel special. Aaaaaaah, that took far too long to recognize. Clearly I need to watch the episodes again!

I'm determined to get this. N

Argh... the pieces are starting to fall into place, but it's not quite there... K? (I'll have to tell my fiance I would love for him to call me a great conductor of light. )

... No, I don't think I know it. But something tells me I will trigger somebody else's thinking muscle. L?

Hmm, I have no idea. O?

Hello hello! Welcome! Very cool that your first episode was The Hounds of Baskerville, and The Reichenbach Fall was still powerful for you. I like hearing stories like that.
