I'm bad and need to actually read more often. I find setting aside the time to read to be challenging. I'm slowly making my way through Dance of Dragons, the fifth book in the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin. Another author I enjoy reading is Douglas Coupland. He has a way with humor and dry wit that I find amusing. Honourable mention goes to the late Brian Jacques, author of the Redwall series that I used to love reading as a kid. One day I'll need to read through the last few books of the series that I hadn't gotten. Many an hour would I spend reading and re-reading those books. *sigh*

That there are, one of my sisters has her birthday on the 11th. Lots of birthday wishes all around!

IIIIIIIIIIIIIII have no idea what I'm doing with my bridal party. Nothing makes sense. I'm over-thinking it and I know that I am, I know that I need to approach it with a clear head, but I can't seem to give myself permission to go for one measly day without thinking about it at all. What are valid reasons to "demote" people from being in a wedding party? Is "I asked you too soon, and since then I've gone and stood in the church, stood at the alter and feel that I only can envision having my siblings and MAYBE my cousin up there" a valid reason? Is "The only people that make sense with crystal-perfect clarity and 0% doubt in my mind are my siblings, the other two bring about a tiny bit of apprehension at the thought of having them up there" a valid reason? Bah. Brain, can you turn off my emotions for a bit so I can get this sorted, please?

I think my favourite one for this year is a tie between Google releasing a NES version of Google Maps, and Think Geek's Blood of the Dragon perfume. Because I secretly kind of want both of them to be real I mean because they are absolutely hilarious. Yeah. That one.

Hmm, I think I know what it is. But I'm planning to be away for most of the day tomorrow, so I'll leave a clue for someone else. G!

Haha, I have a couple of friends who go by their middle names. I myself don't have a middle name, I kind of feel like I'm missing out sometimes. (I guess it's a European thing to not have one? Or a Western thing TO have one? I was never really sure how it worked... all's I know is I'm Greek and apparently Greek's don't have middle names)

Yeah, this is why I (well, used to at least) stream anime series that I hear about, either because it never will become licensed in North America, or because at the time it is so new that it just hasn't been licensed yet. It changed when sites like FUNimation and Crunchyroll made deals with the Japanese companies to legally stream their own dubs of the shows simultaneously or very closely after Japanese air time, but if it's otherwise not available to me, they wouldn't be loosing profit as there would not be a legal way to gain profit from me in the first place. The digital realm being combined with Intellectual Property Copyright Laws make the whole thing be a big gray area with varying shades. It was the one thing that I wish I got a much better grasp on during my one and only Ethics course.
