Hello~

 

Okay. I've created an account, now I have to introduce myself. But what am I supposed to say...?

 

I'm 16, Chinese and living in France. I'm currently in Première L in high school, where I mainly study (foreign and French) literature, English, Spanish, art and history. - I apologize in advance if my grammar is not correct and I hope you'll help me to improve on it.

Later, I'd like to be artist (no matter which kind of artist, I can draw, write, dance... But I admit that I rather hold a pen o/ ) - predestined to unemployment, I know.

 

I'm a great fan of Sherlock Holmes since I discovered the BBC serie, in 2010. Strangely, I don't really like pastiches, though I enjoy reading fanfictions.

Otherwise, I'm fan of Doctor Who but I didn't watch the seventh serie yet - so don't spoil it, please. Oh, and I do believe that one day, he will come and take me with him in his TARDIS. Yup.

 

As Irene Adler says, "I love detective stories. And detectives.": Though I don't want to hear a word about Elementary, I like watching Murdoch Mysteries or Castle. They're fun, aren't they? And...

Since Elementary is a version of Sherlock Holmes, there is of course some discussion of it on this forum -- but it's mostly confined to a couple of threads in the "Other Versions" sub-forum, so it'll be easy enough for you to avoid!

Your grammar is actually quite excellent, Eden. I commend you for it. You just forgot the s on the end of series. Do you know, petite-serie is actually the French way to say mini-series? That's what came to mind when I saw you put in serie. I hope your grammar continues to be as good in your after posts. And I share your loathing of that wretched CBS...Ahem. Excuse me. But of all the versions of myself I deplore, that has to be the one I deplore the most.
