  1. Hi finally I made it back here - my home internet is currently under construction and for some reason the internet café I was yesterday it would not let me check the site here because they had apparently blocked all google services or something like that . No idea why, I didn't want to go ask, pfff...was quite pissed already because of my internet at home. ;P Well, having now more time on my hands being not online, I finally managed to go to the cinema to watch 'Deadpool' yesterday, haha....was fun! And I am re-watching Hannibal (Season 3 at the moment) on DVD at home. Still so much time to go until November, I am looking forward to watching Benedict as Dr.Strange. :sherlock2: Didn't see Star Trek with him before the Hobbit, so I didn't see any Khan-resemblence, but I find it funny sometimes you see the faces of the actors in a way, despite it's an animal or whatever they play - like I always see Andy Serkis when watching Planet of the Apes in Ceasar, it's just amazing. That they can do so much with the MoCap so you have the feeling that it's not just an animated character. But it's because I knew it was him actually, in Star Wars I had no idea and his head was so biiiig, haha! The whole first film Planet of the Apes (Prevolution) I cried my eyes out because it was so sad. Second one was cool, too, but not that sad as the first one. Sitting currently at my mums place for a short time to at least check your lovely comments and stuff, unfortunately she's living not really around the corner, so I have to wait at least until tuesday, let's hope the technician gets it all fixed by then....so be patient with me, I try to come as often back as possible to check in, and have a cup of tea with you guys. ;) Hopefully the home internet will work again soon! Have a lovely weekend everybody!
  2. Hey Lalarun, thanks for the welcome and the info - thought so, around easter time it is... Yup, you have to watch The Hobbit in english to realize Benedict's in it, too! Just like recently I saw Star wars Episode 7 (in german, was not available anymore in Original) I did not know Andy Serkis is in it until the end credits...he's been playing again some Motion Capture-animated Character obviously... Where in Germany are you from, if I may ask?
  3. I just put 'Sherlock Forum' in the search of either benefind or google, don't remember anymore, sometime late last year...and there you were, Sherlock Forum! :P I just wanted to check something out where people talk Sherlock and related stuff, so - took me a while to sign in, as I wanted to make sure I spend some more time here and maybe also want to post something, because I hate signing up somewhere uselessly and then never check back. I may take my time with everything, but when I like someplace, I am faithful.
  4. Hello again, and thank you very much for the warm welcome here. No, I don't glow in the dark, and neither does my pet rabbit . :D I love my coffee black, only the tea needs some soy milk (yes, I am vegan...), no sugars please. Yes, still so much time to go until the next season *sigh*, but well, there's still the special now (I wonder about the german translation, and when it's going to be finally aired here - it must have been dubbed already, as by the end of the month it says in the shops that the DVD is coming out over here, so it must be soon on telly here I guess. Maybe around easter time...?). I myself got me the UK imported version already via used sale, even a little cheaper than the dubbed version then ;) . I have read yet not through all the discussions here, like about the special and such, which I will be doing soon and maybe post something if I have some thoughts to share - and also, another reason why I checked in here - I wanted to read some more fanfiction (which makes waiting sometimes easier in my opinion, I myself don't really write, but I enjoy reading them, people have sometimes great ideas - and sometimes just hilarious) and maybe even talk about it with others. I've been making up stories in my mind already about TV-Shows and stuff when I was little, the word 'fanfiction' had not existed back then (maybe in some heads, but wasn't common that time, which was around the late 80s...), and I didn't know that other people would do that too, and even so excessively like you can find it now on the internet, so I was happy many years later when I discovered in the internet world that there are many many fans of shows, films and whatnot, who actually write down their thoughts like they would write their own book or so. It's very interesting, especially if you have some time to kill between seasons and miss the characters.
  5. Hello , my user name's Bluebell like the rabbit missing in 'The Hounds of Baskerville', I thought it's a good Sherlock reference for me. Mainly because I love rabbits - the avatar refers to it as those two are my pet rabbits. The grey one is also a former lab rabbit, I adopted him around christmas 2013. His name is not Bluebell though, it's Gandalf - well, because he's grey, and I love LotR/Hobbit... :D
  6. I'm greeting from Germany, and I have been checking out this forum already a couple of times, and now finally decided to check in and join. I've been kinda stumbling into the Sherlock-Universe via The Hobbit , when I wanted to find out where else Martin Freeman has been in...(and realized also I had already seen films with him before which I could not remember properly, such as 'Love actually' and 'The Hitchhikers Guide...') I didn't notice Sherlock before as I seldomly watch the Channels they show it on in Germany, my mum actually knew the show before me as she watches those channels, haha... But after seeing the Third season first, as it was running that time and then there were reruns of the first two, I immediately got hooked and got me all the DVDs so I could also watch them in english. :brit: Which I enjoy more as I like their original voices very much. I also have seen 'The abominable bride' already as someone told me about a link where I could check out stuff that runs on BBC :D , so it was more exciting to watch that on the first January than actually New Years (Eve) celebrations... Well, so much from me for the first post, hope it's going to be a good time here in the future!
