  1. Cool if it was for Short Film (Live Action); and this one won. http://www.thevoormanproblem.com/
  2. I think what they were trying to say was that he is the 'go to guy' when you need an american for a brit programme. He has been in many of the british soaps and recently starred with Amanda Abbington in 'Mr Selfridge'. The episode concerned revolves around a visit to the store by a certain Arthur Conan Doyle; played by John Sessions. (Kenny Prince from The Great Game.)
  3. Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddleston; and the 'daddy' of them all-Anthony Hopkins. But to correct the OP the actor playing the CIA agent is an american.
  4. Think The Woman has got some competition (taken today) http://t.co/SJxS80FCIp
  5. http://t.co/y8lKPgA6cq Arwel Jones confirms at the convention that the single red rose at Sherlock's hospital bed was from 'The Women'. Other snippets. There is a hidden message in the graffiti at the drug den. Jonathan Aris confirms Anderson going ape and ripping the stuff from the walls was unscripted.
  6. I'll go with what Benedict says about a possible future Sherlock/Molly relationship. 'There's always a chance'. Don't think it will ever happen show wise because it would spoil the dynamics within the programme; and can't see it happening in Sherlock world, because he would never put Molly in that position. She would be in too much danger from his enemies. I think the possibility that there's 'always a chance'; however remote, is what makes their scenes together so moving and electric.
  7. Sadly, I can't understand a thing in that clip. Is there a transcript somewhere? I haven't gotten to the end of this thread so maybe someone posted one and I haven't gotten to it:) Loo 'Is there any hope for Molly'. Benedict 'There is always hope for Molly. Thats the cruel thing'. I prefer that dynamic in the relationship. If there was no hope it would become a very static relationship. Although even if Sherlock had feelings I don't suspect he would ever express them; as it would put her in danger from his enemies. The rest of the clip is not about the Sherlock/Molly relationship but about Loo fancying Benedict in his motorcycle gear. She also has a thing about his hair. She tweeted that she was allowed to play with it on her birthday
  8. Its been on youtube for a while. Well worth looking at. Cool to note that both Tom and Benedict are heavily involved as Princes Trust Ambassadors with people just like Stuart. http://www.princes-trust.org.uk/about_the_trust/celebrate_success/celebrate_success_2013-14/celebrate_success_10_years/tom_hardy_surprise.aspx
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ny7rRIwYJTE&feature=player_detailpage It's been removed; although I suspect it will pop up somewhere else.

  12. I would imagine that if any honours are in the offing it would be for his charity work. Apart from the numerous charities he supports or is patron of; he is an ambassador of The Princes Trust. Which at that level is pretty much a hands on job.
  13. Definitely no commentaries. The three extras are about 20 mins, 15 mins and 15 mins. Which may tie in with the 2 hour slot as someone has suggested. Not sure about the disc space; but I suspect with Benedicts/Martins commitments; and the Gatiiss and Moffat output required over christmas they may not of had time. I found the 'Shooting Sherlock' extra particularly interesting.
  14. Couple of Last Vow clips and pics added to the Sherlock interactive trailer.
  15. I've been asking myself the same question, but I don't have any good ideas, no. The only things I can come up with are: - Sherlock asking Moriarty for a moment of privacy and saying "please". Not a good idea because it was noticed by a lot of fans and it wasn't really out of character, seeing that Sherlock was not begging for mercy in any way but just keeping Moriarty from looking over the ledge and seeing the preparations on the pavement. That was obvious. The only "out of character" bit there was Moriarty, in my opinion: why on earth did he give in to Sherlock's request? (And btw, what the heck would Sherlock have done if Moriarty had not killed himself - something Sherlock admits was not anticipated! - and had looked over when Sherlock fell?) - Sherlock saying he can deduce the physique of the actual kidnapper but not saying what it is, although he is a compulsive show-off. That may have been supposed to point at his idea that there is a body double for him waiting somewhere out there (I still don't understand why that was needed on the pavement in the first place, because John couldn't see the landing, anyway, and was knocked out by the cyclist before he could go have a closer look). I think it was the other way round. wasn't it? Sherlock did not anticipate Moriarty would kill himself. Hence why Sherlock asked him for some time. I didn't find anything out of character with either Sherlock asking for time; or Moriarty granting it. They both had their own code, as we saw with the first encounter after the court case. It would not be the done thing for either of them to have a 'final encounter' when sharing a pot of tea. Particularly when using the best china. In the same way that Moriarty would have been 'a bit disappointed' if Sherlock had shot him in the swimming pool scene. I think this 'give me a moment' also ties in the one of the solutions put forward by Gatiss. In that Sherlock would land on a platform near the top of the building whilst a body double was thrown from the same location. This scenario tied in with the newspaper article on the Barts Hospital renovations. I see the body double as being needed for a number of the other 12 solutions to the fall. For example if Moriarty had lived and reached the pavement before the body was taken into the hospital. Or indeed for the solution that was used. i.e. if John had reacted to the cyclist and not been knocked down. As for the something the fans missed. I assumed after he said that someone may have brought it up on a forum somewhere as he has never revealed it.
