Morning all. Guess who just woke up from a lovely dream about Benedict?! Wish I hadn't - it was such a nice dream! We met at a wedding, and he was rather smitten with me, if I do say so myself... ;-) And Stephanie Beacham was there for some reason, helping to matchmake us!! Anyway... Less than 12 hours now til the new ep! Can't believe I'm wishing away the last day of the Christmas holidays like this - That's the power of this show!

It is tricky! If I'm really short on time I just look at pictures of Benedict. That sees me through the day

I'm going to watch TEH tonight (7th time) and might be able to squeeze an 8th in tomorrow before TSoT. At the very least, I'll watch my favourite scenes again Then it's back to full-on work mode and hardly having much time for a social life - might have to settle for watching my favourite scenes while I'm getting ready for work in the morning!

Less than 24 hours to go UK people! *bounces around excitedly* It seems crazy that we waited SO long for the new episodes and we get 2 in one week :-D

Great, thanks :-) So I'm at work but having a coffee break - feel so tired! It's always hard to get back into the swing of things when you've had time off over Christmas. Almost as hard as it is to remember an alias when you've had a fright ;-)

So, this 'cafe' thread is kind of a 'talk about anything you want' thread - a place to pop in, say "hi, I'm here", "guess what happened to me today..." etc - just share any comments you want about anything - the kind of stuff you might put on twitter, facebook etc. It's a good way to get to know people and just talk about random stuff So, I'll kick off with - I've now watched The Empty Hearse 6 times in full, and selected scenes a lot more than that. Anyone been more obsessive than that? Instead of going to watch it a 7th time, however, I am going to go to bed as I'm off to work tomorrow (on a Saturday, boo!) Night all

Yeah, I kind of know what you mean. I'm sort of at war with myself on that one - part of me is saying "ha! An off switch! Brilliant - and yes it makes sense for there to be an off switch or, as Sherlock says, terrorists could get themselves into all sorts of trouble!" and then another part of me is saying, "hang on a minute... an off switch? I've never seen that in any movie, or heard of a bomb disposal team being called in to do the highly difficult job of flicking a switch..." So, yeah. Conflicted. But my love for the show will inevitably lead me to the former conclusion

A forum I used to belong to had an area called "The cafe" where people could just post about anything - each thread was opened when the previous one got full and just had a name chosen by whoever started it, but it was just a good place to make general comments and chat about things - "I've got a job interview today," "hey everyone, a funny thing happened to me when I was at the bus stop today..." You know, just general comments and chat about lives that aren't related to a certain topic. Does that make sense?? Anyway, I couldn't see anything like that on here (but I only joined yesterday so I may have just missed it!) It was a good way to get to know people and sort of became like a chat room at busy times when lots of people were posting and talking! Just thought I'd suggest it
