I was exceedingly preoccupied by that little affair of the Vatican cameos, and in my anxiety to oblige the Pope I lost touch with several interesting English cases.

—Sherlock Holmes, The Hound of the Baskervilles

Good morrow!

Here is a 16-year old girl typing from the Netherlands. I am an anglophile all over. My fandoms are common: Harry Potter, Doctor Who and BBC Sherlock of course. I love Shakespeare's plays and sonnets. I'd like to study acting and creative writing when I'm finished in high school. If I'm not accepted, I'll probably study English language and culture in Utrecht.

went to Birmingham in autumn and when I was in HMV, I saw Doctor Who series 5 on sale. I knew there was a massive DW fandom and I wondered why they liked it so much. So I bought it.

My life was never going to be the same.

After I watched series 5, I ordered series 6 and did some research on Steven Moffat. By Christmas, I saw in our TV magazine that Sherlock was going to be broadcasted on BBC1. Unfortunately, I couldn't watch the first episode of series 2, so the first episode I saw was The Hound of Baskerville.

I was flabbergasted. It was so funny and scary and AWESOME I had to watch the next episode too.

The Reichenbach fall hit me like a bomb. I cried and cried and cried.

Of course I had to order the first series too. So I did.

Now, I'm totally SHERLOCKED. You have an enthausiastic forummember here :)

Thanks for reading!

Hello hello! Welcome! Very cool that your first episode was The Hounds of Baskerville, and The Reichenbach Fall was still powerful for you. I like hearing stories like that.
