Not Being Able to Access Calendar

When I try to access the calendar, it comes up with this error message: "[#104211.1] You do not have permission to access the calendar." My friend can't access it either. Maybe I'm not supposed to access it, but I don't know. It's just I see those.creepy.evil.bots.from that other thread accessing it, so I assumed, if the bots access it to make us rank higher in searches, well, somebody has to be able to view it...somebody who isn't a creepy evil bot.

You're talking about the calendar tab at the top of the page?  Funny, but I don't think I had ever clicked on that before.  It does work for me, though, and it doesn't seem logical that the calendar feature would be limited to creepy evil mods, or to adult access.

 

How about the rest of y'all -- does the calendar work for you?

This is truly weird.  I've tried accessing the calendar via two other accounts, namely Alex's and an RP account that I use mostly for checking how things look to non-staff.  Alex is not allowed to view the calendar, but the the RP account is.  Come to think of it, the RP account is still within its first ten posts, so is still limited in some of what it can do -- yet it can read the calendar, while member-in-good-standing Alex cannot.

 

I hope that Undead Medic will be able to make some sense out of this, 'cause I sure can't!

Awww, mods aren't creepy or evil! But really, the bots do sound evil...I mean they're called "crawlers"...

 

Right, I can access the calendar while being a guest...does that make any sense at all?!

None whatsoever!  But I'm sure it means something, and may help Undead Medic figure out what's going on.  So thanks for the additional datum!

I have edited the permissions, regular members should now be able to view the calendar, create and comment on events.
