Heya! I'm fraughtwithsparkles - except, that's a bit of a mouthful, so, y'know, any variation of that works. Sparkles is the one that tends to get used most often.

I'm a teenager from SE England who's currently living in India for a year. I'm fond of writing fanfiction and talking sarcastically to TV shows. I also enjoy RPG games and talking.

I tend to ramble when I'm nervous (and since I'm sorta very slightly bad at this whole social get-out-there and talk to people thing I am a little nervous), so sorry about that!

Anyway, I was introduced to the BBC's version of Sherlock last year summer, though I'd read ACD's Study in Scarlet before that. I'm one of those people who likes to theorise and poke holes in episodes, only to hurriedly and strategically retreat when I find any flaws. It's nice to meet all of you, and, uh, I hope we get along! (awkwardly shuffles)

Hello, Sparkles -- welcome to Sherlock Forum!  :welcome:

A year in India sounds very exciting.  I bet you'll learn a whole lot more by actually living there than anyone could as a tourist.  You're not our first forum member from India, so you may find a few kindred spirits there (yeah, I know, it's a big country!).

If you talk sarcastically to your television, then you should fit right in here!

Thanks very much, the both of you!

It is quite exciting, actually - I've yet to start school and such here in India, and well.. I haven't actually been outside the flat yet! I'm planning to essentially try and make friends by using my school introduction as a time to list my favourite TV shows, and go from there. Thank you very much for letting me know - I'll try and hit them up!

(Well, I say 'talk'... I mean shout in disbelief and occasionally swear loudly.)

Hello Sparkles! :welcome: to Sherlock Forum!

You're not alone, many of us find ourselves swearing at our TVs for one reason or another.

I hope you enjoy the forum!

Thank you, I'm sure I will!!  Swearing at TVs has become a national past-time of Britain, I think. I was honestly surprised at how many of my teachers were talking about  His Last Vow the day after it aired!
